Crestron QM-IEM Image Enhancer Module
Image Enhancer Module: QM-IEM

Introduction

Features and Functions

The QM-IEM is a module added to the output of the QM-RMCRX to improve performance when connected to digital light processing (DLP™) micro-electromechanical display. DLP technology uses fast switching optical semiconductors to digitally manipulate light. Some of these DLP devices are extremely sensitive to noise. The QM-IEM acts as an antialias device, limiting the out-of-band noise by using a sharp bandwidth cutoff.
Functional Summary
Connects directly to either the RGBHV output port of the QMRMCRX or to the input side of the DLP display device
Eliminates noise
Easy one-piece mounting (additional hardware not required)
The QM-IEM has been successfully tested with the following DLP devices.
Make Model
Christie Christie DS30
Digital Projection Digital Projection iVision HD
