Installation

The PMK-6L consists of a single metal plate, which fastens to the stud of a framed wall prior to hanging drywall. Standard drywall nails or screws to attach the PMK-6L are not supplied (length can vary).
If the touchpanel is to be installed, refer to the latest revision of the TPS-6L Operations Guide (Doc. 6564) for installation instructions. The document is available from

CAUTION: Allow an air gap of at least 12 inches in the wall cavity above and below the touchpanel for heat dissipation.
NOTE: Prior to mounting the touchpanel, ensure that
the PMK-6L is flush with the drywall (no kinks or bends in the metal). Any separation may make screwing in the touchpanel more difficult. One can purchase and attach a TMK-6L or an MMK-6L to keep the PMK-6L straight.
