Product Information
The CC-STL Module fits in the Power/Output bay located on the rear
panel of Crest Audio CKS, CKV & CKX Series Power Processing
amplifiers. It is the standard Power/Output module. It provides a simple
and convenient method of remote Sequential Turn-On/Off (STO) for
groups of amplifiers. The turn-on sequence is initiated by applying an
external DC voltage (+8 to +18 VDC) via contact closure to the Phoenix
STO connector terminals. The feed-thru turn-on delay is fixed at approximately 200ms to reduce inrush current demands to the AC mains
source.

• Amplifier output terminals on barrier strip with 0.44" (11mm) screw spacing and 0.32" (8mm) lug spacing
• 5mm 4-pin Phoenix connector for sequential turn-on/off control
• Signal chassis ground lift jumper
CC-STL connections
Should an amplifier in the chain be turned off or its circuit breaker
tripped, the CC-STL will continue to “pass-thru” the correct turn-on
voltage state to other amplifiers in the chain.
A three-position front-panel power switch is fitted to all CKS, CKV &
CKX amplifiers. This must be in the “Remote” position for the CC-STL
to initiate a turn-on sequence. Multiple external DC voltage sources can
be used to initiate STO in amplifiers at different locations or as the system design requires.

Architects and Engineers Specifications - CC-STL.
The module shall plug into a Crest Audio CKS or CKV Power Processing amplifier in the
Power/Output bay. The module shall provide non-NexSys initiated sequential turn-on/off
capability for the host CKS and/or CKV amplifier. An external DC voltage (of +8 to +18
volts) shall be applied to the first amplifier in a chain to initiate the turn-on sequence.
A 5mm 4-pin Phoenix connector shall be provided to receive and pass on the turn-on initiation voltage signal. The module shall provide outputs for both channels on barrier strip connectors and a signal ground lift jumper. The module shall be designated the Crest Audio
model CC-STL.
