Before beginning assembly, decide if you want to have a right or left facing bookcase. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR ASSEMBLING A LEFT FACING BOOKCASE.

1 Place side panel on the floor with the holes facing up, oriented as shown. The bottom of the panel has 2 metal inserts on the edge. Insert 12 cam screws into the inner holes and secure with a phillips head screwdriver.

2 A. Insert 6 wood dowels into each of the 6 shelves. B. Insert 4 cams per shelf, making sure the arrow on each cam points towards the shelf edge.

4 Secure 6 shelves to the side panel by turning each cam 90 degrees clockwise with a screwdriver. Turn the cam until the arrow is in the position shown in the illustration.

3 Align dowels with holes in side panel and fit shelves into position. Note: All shelf holes should face down except for the top shelf.

5 A. Insert 4 wood dowels into the ends of the kick plate.
B. Place kick plate into position and fit dowels into corresponding holes in the side panel.

6 A. Fasten 4 cam screws to the inner holes of the 2 shelf end panels. B. Fasten 4 cam screws to the inner holes of the
base end panel.
These holes will not be used
8 With the assistance of another adult, place the bookcase assembly face down. Using the included allen wrench, fasten 12 wood screws through the back panel into the corresponding holes on the back of the shelves as indicated. NOTE: There will be 1 unused hole on each shelf.

7 Fit shelf and base end panels into positon, aligning corresponding holes of cam screws and dowels. Secure all 12 cams by turning each clockwise 90 degrees.
9 Insert 4 levellers into the threaded holes on the underĀ­side of the assembly.

NOTE:
This bookcase is intended for placement against a wall using the enclosed anchoring hardware. The included hardware is for mounting the unit to drywall. Use hardware appropriate to your wall type.

10 A. With the assistance of another adult, lift the assembly into a standing position. Conceal all exposed cams with cam/screw covers. B. Conceal all exposed screw heads on back panel with cam/screw covers. C. Conceal all holes on shelf edges with hole covers. Assembly is now complete.
CONFIGURATION SUGGESTIONS
Shown using 1 right facing bookcase, 1 left facing bookcase and 1 set of 2 connector units (sold seperately).
11 A. Drill a hole in the wall slightly smaller than the diameter of the plastic wall anchor. Lightly tap with a hammer until the face is flush with the wall. B. Insert long wood screw through wall anchor strap and into the wall anchor. C. Insert short wood screw through wall anchor strap & into holes on top of unit.
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean surfaces with a dry or damp soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not use furniture wax or polish.
