Under extreme usage or temperature conditions,
batten/leakage may occur, If liquidcomes in
contact withyour skin,wash immediatelywith
soapand water, then neutralizewith lemonjuice
orvinegar. If liquidgets inyour eyes,flushthem
with clean waterfor at least 1Ominutes,then
seek immediatemedical attention.
If canying your batterytool at your side, make
sure it is not runningandyourfinger is noton the
switch.Avoidaccidental starting,

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RECHARGING HOT BATTERIES
When usingyour drill-drive!continuously, the batteriesinyour batterypack will become hat. You shouldleta hot
battery pack cool downfor approximately30 minutes before attemptingto recharge. When the batterypeck
becomes dischargedand is hot, thiswill cause the yellow and green lightson your batterychargerto come on
insteadof the red light.The yellow and green lightsindicatesoft start mode and will switchto green only, indicat-
ing slowchargemode. The red lightindicatesfast charge mode, 1 hourchargetime. The green lightindicates
slowcharge mode, requiringovernightchargingfor batteries to roachfull charge. If the green lightcomes on
after lettingbattery pack cool down, removeit from chargerfor additionalcooling.0 nce the battery pack cools
down, you can recharge battery packin fast charge modeas normal. Do not leave a hot battery peck in charger
untilitcoolsdown, The green lightwill notgo offwhen batterypackcools, Iffast charga mode is desired, you
must physicallyremove a hot batterypack from the charger,let it cool,then place it backin charger after it has
cooled down.
Note: This situationonlyoccurswhen continuous use of yourdrillcauses the batteriesto become hot, Itdoes
notoccurunder normalcimumstances. Refer to "CHARGING BA'I-rERY PACK" for normal rechargingof
batteries.If the charger does not chargeyourbattery pack undernormalcircumstances,return both the battery
packand chargertoyour nearest Sears repaircenter for electricalcheck.
