• Misuse or modification of this appliance may result in breakdown or injury.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• The appliance is intended for household use only.
• The appliance should always be turned to OFF before plugging or unplugging from socket. Never yank cord to disconnect from socket; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

• Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your product corresponds with your local electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).
• If the mains sockets in your home are not suitable for the plug supplied with this product, check with a qualified electrician for replacement.
FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
• Do not use in environments which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid.
• Keep the unit free from dust and clean with a dry cloth.
• Do not use in areas exposed to direct sunlight or where it can become extremely hot.
• Keep away from sources of strong magnetism - such as televisions or speakers.
• Avoid placement where there is a lot of movement, vibration or on an unstable surface.

• Attempt to disassemble this unit or carry out repairs.
• Attempt to modify the unit in any way.
• Make sure that foreign objects do not get inside the unit.
• Place naked flame sources - such as lit candles on or near the unit.
• Place objects filled with liquids - such as vases, on or next to the unit.
• Cover the unit - allow the unit to be well ventilated.
• Drop the unit or subject it to strong shocks.
• Use parts not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Use if any parts damaged - replace before further use.
• Use with programmer, timer or any other device that switches it on automatically.

CHILDREN
• Children do not always understand the dangers associated with operating electrical
appliances. Never allow children to use this appliance.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
POWER SUPPLY
• If the unit uses a mains supply, ensure that the plug is securely inserted into the mains socket, and it is easily accessible.
• Protect the power lead from sharp objects, excessive heat and damp or wet locations. Check the power lead periodically, and replace if damaged.
• Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your product corresponds with your local electricity supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).
• Any repairs should only be carried out by a fully qualified electrician or an authorised service agent.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR BACK), THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE, REFER SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.
ATTENTION : Your oven should be cleaned regularly to prevent grease and food particles from building up on the inside surface. The accumulated grease / food particles may cause a fire hazard.
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs. The outer surfaces may be become hot when the oven is on.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any parts of the oven in water or other liquids.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas hob, electric burner, or in a heated oven, or in a microwave oven.

• The use of accessory or attachments other than supplied may cause damages and injuries.
• When operating the oven, keep at least 10cm of space on all sides of the oven to allow for adequate air circulation.
• Unplug from the mains when not in use, or before cleaning. Allow it to cool before replacing parts or before cleaning.
• Do not cover CRUMB TRAY or any part of the oven with metal foil. This may cause the oven to overheat.
• Use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease or other hot liquids.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
• Oversized foods or non-metal utensils must not be inserted into the oven as they may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
• Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed if anything other than metal or glass.

• Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper or any other flammable materials.
• Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer’s recommended accessories in this oven.
• Always wear protective, insulated oven mitts when inserting or removing items from the hot oven.
• Do not use outdoors.
• The glass Door cannot support goods in the open position.
• To reduce the risk of fire or shock, do not operate unit unless the removable top tray is in place.
• If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, this appliance may not operate properly. The Toaster Oven should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
