Which Video Connection Should I Use ?
You have three options for connecting your TV to your Blu-ray DVD Player: HDMI, Component, or
Composite. Based on your home theater configuration, you can decide which option is the right one for
you.

Chapter 11 Adjusting Blu-ray DVD Player Settings
The Settings menu allows you to adjust language, display, audio, and other settings. Your player will save
changes made to the settings, even when your player is turned off.

Select NTSC for TVs purchased in North America. Select PAL for TVs purchased in other parts of the

Select the video output resolution option that best fits the type of TV you have connected to your player:

Many movies recorded on Blu-ray discs are recorded at 24 frames per second (fps). If your player is
connected to the TV via HDMI, and the TV has the capability to display 24 fps, setting Film Mode to On
tells your player to output content recorded at 24 fps (without converting it to
30 or 60 frames/second).
