USB-KVM Switch kunt aansluiten en gebruiken.

3. De Conceptronic 2-Ports Pocket USB-KVM Switch aansluiten
A. Sluit de VGA kabel van uw monitor aan op de Console VGA poort van de KVM
Switch.
B. Sluit uw USB toetsenbord aan op de linker USB poort van de KVM Switch.
C. Sluit uw USB muis aan op de rechter USB poort van de KVM Switch.
D. Sluit uw microfoon aan op de Console microfoon aansluiting van de KVM Switch.
E. Sluit uw luidsprekers aan op de Console luidspreker aansluiting van de KVM Switch.
F. Sluit 1 kabelset aan op 1 van uw computers:
- Sluit de VGA stekker aan op de VGA aansluiting van uw computer.
- Sluit de USB stekker aan op een vrije USB poort van uw computer.
- Sluit de MIC en SPK stekkers aan op de geluidskaart van uw computer.
Herhaal stap F voor iedere computer die u op de KVM Switch wilt aansluiten.

4. KVM Schakel-opties
Het is mogelijk om handmatig te schakelen tussen de aangesloten computers zonder het
gebruik van een extra applicatie. Dit kan op 2 manieren:
o Door middel van de PC selectieknop (getoond in hoofdstuk 2).
o Door middel van de toetsenbord schakeltoetsen “Scroll-lock” + “Scroll-lock”.
5. De Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie
De Conceptronic 2-Ports Pocket USB-KVM Switch kan handmatig bediend worden via de
knoppen op de bovenzijde van de KVM switch, of door middel van de meegeleverde
applicatie.
5.1 Installatie van de Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie
A. Plaats de CD-ROM in uw CD-ROM speler. Het Autorun Menu zal automatisch verschijnen.
Als het Autorun Menu niet getoond wordt, ga dan naar “Mijn Computer” en dubbelklik
op de CD-ROM speler om het Autorun Menu te starten.
B. Selecteer de optie “Install USB KVM Software” in het menu; Selecteer “Windows” of
“MAC”, afhankelijk van uw besturingssysteem.

C. De Setup Wizard zal verschijnen. Klik op “Install”.
D. Kies een doelmap voor de KVM Switch applicatie of behoud de standaard locatie.
Let op:
Als u een snelkoppeling wilt op uw bureaublad, zorg dan dat deze is aangevinkt in
de Setup Wizard.
E. Klik op “Install” om de Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie te installeren op uw
computer.
F. Klik op “OK” als de installatie is voltooid.
5.2 De Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie configureren
Voordat u gebruik kunt maken van de Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie dient u deze
eerst te configureren.
A. Open de Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie door te dubbelklikken op het
applicatie-icoon in de systeembalk, of door met de rechtermuisknop te klikken op het
applicatie-icoon en te kiezen voor “Settings”.
B. Als het instellingenscherm van de Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch applicatie op uw
scherm staat, kunt u de sneltoetsen configureren naar uw eigen voorkeur (of u gebruikt
de standaard instellingen).

Het is mogelijk om het geluid van 1 van de aangesloten computers vast te zetten. Wanneer u
vervolgens schakelt tussen de verschillende computers zal het geluid niet mee schakelen.
Het geluid van een andere computer zal niet hoorbaar zijn.
De laatste mogelijkheid van de applicatie is de “Auto Scan” optie. Als deze optie is
ingeschakeld zal de KVM Switch automatisch schakelen tussen de aangesloten PC’s.
(Standaard schakeltijd = 10 seconden).
Het is ook mogelijk om te schakelen tussen de aangesloten computers door met de
rechtermuisknop te klikken op het applicatie-icoon in de systeembalk en te kiezen voor
“Switch to PC #” (Waar # kan staan voor 1 – 2).

3. Connecting your Conceptronic 2-port USB-KVM Switch
A. Connect the VGA Cable of your monitor to the Console VGA port on the KVM Switch.
B. Connect your USB Keyboard to the left USB Port on the KVM Switch.
C. Connect your USB Mouse to the right USB Port on the KVM Switch.
D. Connect your microphone to the Console Microphone port on the KVM Switch.
E. Connect your speaker system to the Console Speaker port on the KVM Switch.
F. Connect 1 cable set to one of your PC’s:
- Connect the VGA connector to the VGA connection on your PC.
- Connect the USB connector to a free USB port on your PC.
- Connect the MIC and SPK connectors to the soundcard of your PC.
Repeat step F for each computer you want to connect to the KVM Switch.

4. KVM Switching Explanation
It is possible to switch manually without the need for using additional software. This can
be done in 2 ways:
o Use of the PC selection switch (shown in chapter 2.1).
o By use of the keyboard hotkey “Scroll-lock” + “Scroll-lock”.
5. Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch application
The Conceptronic 2-Ports Pocket USB-KVM Switch can be controlled both manually via
the buttons located on the topside of the unit and with the use of the included
application.
5.1 Installation of the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch application
A. Insert the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM Drive. The Auto run should appear automatically. If
the Auto run menu does not appear, navigate to “My Computer” and double-click on
the CD-ROM drive to start the Auto run menu.
B. Select the option “Install USB KVM Software” in the menu; Select “Windows” or
“MAC”, depending on your Operating System.

C. The Setup Window will appear. Click “Install”.
D. Choose a destination folder for the KVM switch Software or keep it default.
Note:
If you want a shortcut to the software on your desktop, make sure the checkbox on
your screen is checked.
E. Click “Install” to install the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switcher application on your
computer.
F. When the installation is complete, click “OK”.
5.2 Configuring the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch
Before you can use the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch utility, you need to configure the
application.
A. Open the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch utility by double clicking on the utility icon in
the task system tray, or by using the right mouse button on the utility icon and choose
“Settings”
B. Once the Conceptronic USB-KVM Switch utility settings screen is open you can configure
the hotkeys (or leave the default settings) to your own preference.

It is possible to fix the audio port to one of the 2 PC’s, when doing this the sound will remain
functioning from the chosen fixed PC setting. Sounds from other PC other than the fixed PC
will not be heard.
The last option is the auto scan setting, with this setting the switch will change from each
system during a period of time (default is 10 seconds).
It is also possible to switch PC’s by using the right mouse button on the Conceptronic USBKVM Switch utility icon in the taskbar and choosing “Switch to PC #” (Where # can be 1 - 2).

3. Conexión del conmutador de 2 puertos USB-KVM de Conceptronic
A. Conecte el cable VGA de su monitor al puerto VGA de la consola en el conmutador KVM.
B. Conecte su teclado USB al puerto USB izquierdo del conmutador KVM.
C. Conecte su ratón USB al puerto USB derecho del conmutador KVM.
D. Conecte su micrófono al puerto de micrófono de la consola en el conmutador KVM.
E. Conecte su sistema de altavoces al puerto de altavoces de la consola en el conmutador
KVM.
F. Conecte 1 juego de cables a uno de sus PC:
- Conecte el conector VGA a la conexión VGA en su PC.
- Conecte el conector USB a un puerto USB libre en su PC.
- Conecte los conectores MIC y SPK a la tarjeta de sonido de su PC.
Repita el paso F para cada ordenador que quiera conectar al conmutador KVM.

4. Descripción de la conmutación KVM
Es posible conmutar manualmente sin tener que utilizar programas adicionales. Se
puede realizar de dos maneras:
o Utilizar el conmutador de selección de PC (mostrado en el capítulo 2.1).
o Mediante las teclas de acceso rápido del teclado “Bloq Despl” + “Bloq Despl”.
5. Software del conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic
El conmutador de 2 puertos Pocket USB-KVM de Conceptronic se puede controlar
mediante los botones localizados en la parte superior de la unidad y con el uso de la
aplicación incluida.
5.1 Instalación de la aplicación del conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic
A. Inserte el CD-ROM en la unidad de CD-ROM. El menú Autorun deberá aparecer
automáticamente. Si el menú Autorun no aparece, vaya a “Mi PC” y haga doble clic
sobre la unidad de CD-ROM para iniciar el menú Autorun.
B. Seleccione la opción “Install USB KVM Software” (Instalar el software USB-KVM) en el
menú; seleccione “Windows” o “MAC”, en función de su sistema operativo.

C. Aparecerá la ventana de configuración. Haga clic en “Instalar”.
D. Seleccione una carpeta de destinación para el software del conmutador KVM o
mantenga la carpeta predeterminada.
Nota:
Si quiere un acceso directo al software en su escritorio, asegúrese de marcar la
casilla de verificación en pantalla.
E. Haga clic en “Instalar” para instalar la aplicación del conmutador USB-KVM de
Conceptronic en su ordenador.
F. Cuando la instalación se haya completado, haga clic en “Aceptar”.
5.2 Configuración del conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic
Antes de utilizar el conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic, debe configurar la aplicación.
A. Abra la utilidad del conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic haciendo doble clic en el
icono de la utilidad en la bandeja del sistema, o con el botón derecho del ratón sobre el
icono de la utilidad y seleccione “Settings” (Opciones).
B. Una vez la pantalla de opciones de la utilidad del conmutador USB-KVM de Conceptronic
esté abierta, podrá configurar las teclas de acceso rápido (o dejar las opciones
predeterminadas).
