Conceptronic CIR4U installeert.

1. Inleiding
Met deze USB 2.0 Infrarood (IrDA) adapter is het mogelijk om met andere
infrarood apparatuur, zoals mobiele (GSM) telefoons, PDA’s of andere apparaten
voorzien van IrDA, te communiceren. Perfect voor snelle overdracht van
ringtones, logo’s, data en tevens voor het synchroniseren van uw agenda of
adresboek. Het is ook mogelijk om 2 computers te koppelen en onderling data te
sturen en te ontvangen.

4. Hardware installatie
Installeer eerst de stuurprogramma’s voordat u de
CIR4U aansluit op de computer! Nadat u de
stuurprogramma’s heeft geïnstalleerd kunt u de
CIR4U direct of door middel van de USB
verlengkabel aansluiten op een vrije USB poort.
Plaats de CIR4U binnen handbereik, zodat u op de
juiste wijze verbonden kunt worden met een ander
apparaat.

5. Stuurprogramma installatie: Windows 98SE/ME/2000 en XP
LET OP:
U dient eerst het stuurprogramma te installeren, alvorens u de CIR4U aansluit op
uw computer. De onderstaande installatie is gebaseerd op Windows 98SE,
andere systemen werken iets anders.

6. Stuurprogramma / product installatie
Na het installeren van het stuurprogramma, kunt u de C4iRU aansluiten op de
computer. De stuurprogramma wordt dan automatisch geïnstalleerd.
Windows XP gebruikers:
Na herstart, tijdens de installatie van de hardware wordt u gevraagd om een
‘Digitale Handtekening’.
Klik op ‘Toch Doorgaan’ om het stuurprogramma te installeren.
7. Controle product installatie
Het plaatje is ter illustratie, dit kan afwijken afhankelijk van uw besturingssysteem.
Windows 98SE and ME:
Ga naar Start-> Instellingen -> Configuratie Scherm -> Systeem -> Tabblad
apparaatbeheer.
Windows 2000 and XP:
Ga naar Start-> Configuratie Scherm -> Systeem ->Tabblad Hardware ->

With this infrared (IrDA) adapter it is possible to connect other infrared devices
like mobile (GSM) phones, PDA,s or other computer and devices equipped with
IrDA. Perfect for high-speed transfer or ring tones, logo’s, data and also for

First install the drivers for the CIR4U!
After the driver installation connect it directly or
by way of the USB Extension Cable to a free
USB port. Place CIR4U right away, so you can
properly connect to an other device.

NOTICE:
Before you install the driver to your computer, do not connect the USB to IrDA
Adapter ‘CIR4U’ to your computer. The installation is based on Wind ows 98SE,
other operating systems are a little different.

6. Driver / Device installation
After the driver installation you can connect the device to your computer. The
device will be installed automatic by Windows.
For XP users:
During the installation of the driver you will be prompted for a ‘Digital Signature’,
Click ‘Continue Anyway’.
7. Verifying Device installation
The picture showed is for illustration only. This can differ depending o n th e
operating system used.
Windows 98SE and ME:
Go to: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System ->Device Manager tab.
Windows 2000 and XP:
Go to: Start -> Control Panel -> System ->Hardware tab -> Device Manager.
Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000 and XP:
In the list you will find ‘Sigmatel USB
2.0 IrDA Bridge’ under ‘Infrared
devices’. When this is displayed the
installation is done successfully.

Con este adaptador de infrarrojos (IrDA) puede conectar a su ordenador otros
dispositivos infrarrojos como teléfonos móviles (GSM), PDA u otros ordenadores

En primer lugar, instale los drivers para el CIR4U.
Tras la instalación de los drivers , conecte el

extensión USB a un puerto USB libre. Coloq ue el
CIR4U de modo que Ud. pueda conectarse
correctamente a otro dispositivo.

No conecte el USB para el adaptador IrDA "CIR4U" a su ordenador mientras no
haya instalado el driver en su ordenad or. La instalación se basa en Windows

Als erstes müssen die Treiber für den CIR4U
installiert werden! Nach der Treiberinstallation
kann er direkt oder über das
USB-Verlängerungskabel an einen freien
USB-Port angeschlossen werden. Platzieren
Sie den CIR4U so, dass mühelos andere Geräte
daran angeschlossen werden können.

Nach der Treiberinstallation können Sie das Gerät an Ihren Computer
anschließen. Windows installiert das Gerät automatisch.
Bei Windows XP:
Während der Treiberinstallation erscheint ein Popup-Fenster zur ‚digitalen
Signatur’.
Klicken Sie auf ‚Installation fortsetzen’.
7. Überprüfung der Geräteinstallation
Die Abbildung dient lediglich der Veranschaulichung. Die Anzeige hängt vom
verwendeten Betriebssystem ab.
Windows 98SE aund ME:
Gehen Sie zu: Start -> Einstellungen -> Systemsteuerung -> System ->
Registerkarte Geräte-Manager.

Installez d'abord les drivers du CiR2U !
Après avoir installé le driver, branchez-le
directement ou au moyen de la Rallonge US B
sur un port USB. Placez le CIR4U de telle sorte
que vous puissiez le brancher correctement à un
autre dispositif.

7. Vérification de l'installation du Dispositif
L'image n'est fournie qu'à titre d'illustration. Elle peut ne pas refléter la réalité en
fonction du système d'exploitation utilisé.
Windows 98SE et ME :
Allez à : Démarrage -> Paramètres -> Panneau de Contrôle -> Système -> Onglet
Gestionnaire de Périphériques.
Windows 2000 et XP :
Allez à : Démarrage -> Panneau de Contrôle -> Système -> Onglet Matériel ->
Gestionnaire de Périphériques.
Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000 et XP:
Dans la liste vous trouverez "Sigmatel
USB 2.0 IrDA Bridge" dans "Dispositifs
infrarouges". Lorsque cette information
est affichée, l'installation est réussie.

Prima di tutto è necessario installare il driver del
CIR4U! Dopo averlo installato, collegare il
dispositivo direttamente o per mezzo della
prolunga USB, inserendola in una porta USB.
Posizionare immediatamente il CIR4U, per
poterlo collegare correttamente a un altro
dispositivo.

AVVISO:
Se il driver non è stato ancora installato nel computer, non collegare l’adattatore
CIR4U USB. L’installazione prende come esempio Windows 98SE; la procedura
per gli altri sistemi operativi potrebbe essere leggermente diversa.

ssicurarsi che la porta USB
sia attiva e che funzioni
correttamente.
Inserire il driver CD-ROM
nell’unità del CD-ROM e aprire
il file “setup.exe”, contenuto

Dopo aver installato il driver, il dispositivo potrà essere collegato al computer e
Windows lo installerà automaticamente.
Per gli utenti del sistema operativo XP: durante l’installazione del driver verrà
richiesta una “Firma digitale”. Fare clic su “Continua comunque”.
7. Verifica dell’installazione del dispositivo
L’immagine riportata qui di seguito ha solo fini illustrativi, e potrebbe variare a
seconda del sistema operativo in uso.
Windows 98SE e ME:
Andare su: Start -> Impostazioni -> Pannello di controllo -> Sistema -> linguetta di
Gestione periferiche.
Windows 2000 e XP:
Andare su: Start -> Pannello di controllo -> Sistema -> linguetta di Hardware ->
Gestione periferiche.
Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000 e XP:
Se sotto la voce “Dispositivi a
infrarossi”, appare nell’elenco
“Sigmatel USB 2.0 IrDA Bridge”, ciò
significa che l'’installazione è stata
realizzata correttamente.

1. Introdução
Com este adaptador de infravermelhos (IrDA) é possível ligar ao seu computador
dispositivos de infravermelhos, como telemóveis (GSM), PDAs ou outros
computadores ou dispositivos equipados com IrDA. Ideal para a transferência a
alta velocidade de dados, tons de chamada e logotipos, bem como para a
sincronização da sua agenda ou livro de endereços. Pode-se inclusivamente ligar
dois computadores a fim de enviar e receber dados.

4. Instalação do hardware
Primeiramente instale o driver para o CIR4U.
Após a instalação do driver ligue o dispositivo,
directamente ou mediante o Cabo de Extensão
para USB, a uma porta USB livre. A seguir, situe
o CIR4U de forma que possa ser ligado a outro
dispositivo.

5. Instalação do driver: Windows 98SE/ME/2000 e XP
ATENÇÃO
Não ligue o Adaptador IrDA “CIR4U” à porta USB antes de instalar o drive r no
computador. A instalação está baseada no Windows 98SE; outros sistemas
operativos apresentam pequenas diferenças.
Ligue o computador.

ssegure-se de que a porta
USB está activa e funciona
correctamente.
Insira o CD-ROM do driver na
unidade de CD-ROM e execute
o ficheiro “setup.exe” da pasta
X:\Driver
A
penas para o Windows XP:
Durante a instalação do driver
será pedida uma “Assinatura
Digital”. Clique em “Continuar
assim mesmo” para instalar o
driver do CIR4U.

Reinicie o sistema. Ao reiniciar o sistema o CIR4U será detectado e instalado
automaticamente.

6. Instalação do driver / dispositivo
Após a instalação do driver, ligue o dispositivo ao computador. O dispositivo será
instalado automaticamente pelo Windows.
Para utilizadores de Windows XP:
Durante a instalação do driver será pedida uma “Assinatura Digital”; Clique em
“Continuar assim mesmo”.
7. Verificação da instalação do dispositivo
A imagem mostrada serve apenas como orientação, uma vez que pode ser
diferente segundo o sistema operativo utilizado.
Windows 98SE e ME:
Vá a: Iniciar -> Definições -> Painel de Controlo -> Sistema -> Gestor de
Dispositivos .
Windows 2000 and XP:
Vá a: Iniciar -> Painel de Controlo -> Sistema -> Hardware -> Gestor de
Dispositivos.
Windows 98SE/ ME/ 2000 e XP:
Na lista encontrará “Sigmatel USB 2.0
IrDA Bridge” abaixo de “Dispositivos de
infravermelhos”. Se isso aparecer,
significa que a instalação foi concluída
com êxito.
