LIMITED THREE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will (at our option) repair or replace your appliance free of charge for 36 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials. To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service centre nearest you, together with your sales slip and $5.50 for postage and hand­ling. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period will be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PUR­POSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 60 MONTH DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CON­SEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the Heating Pad, insert the Heating Pad completely into the Cloth Cover with the electric cord extending out from the Cloth Cover (Figure 4). If moist heat is desired, follow instructions in
the “Moist Heat Treatment” section.

8. DO NOT USE PINS OR OTHER METALLIC MEANS TO FASTEN THIS PAD IN PLACE.
9. DO NOT SIT ON OR AGAINST OR CRUSH PAD-AVOID SHARP FOLDS.
10. NEVER PULL THIS PAD BY THE SUPPLY CORD AND DO NOT USE THE CORD AS A HANDLE.
11. CAREFULLY EXAMINE INNER COVER BEFORE EACH USE. DISCARD THE PAD IF INNER COVERING SHOWS ANY SIGNS OF DETERIORATION (SUCH AS BLISTER­ ING OR CRACKING).
12. USE THIS PAD ONLY ON A 120 VOLT AC CIRCUIT. UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE.
13. DO NOT TAMPER WITH THIS PAD IN ANY WAY. THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS. IF FOR ANY REASON THIS PAD DOES NOT FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY, RETURN TO AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRE AT ADDRESS GIVEN.

MOIST HEAT TREATMENT
For your safety, never immerse the electric heat wrap in water or any liquid. With the Heating Pad unplugged, first remove and then wet the Absorbent Sponge and squeeze out the excess water. Insert the damp sponge flat between the Heating Pad and the Cloth Cover. Then use the Heating Pad in a normal fashion. After use, dry the Cloth Cover, Absorbent Sponge and Heating
Pad before storing.

BY A CHILD, AN INDIVIDUAL WITH CERTAIN DISABILITIES, A PARALYZED PERSON, A SLEEPING OR UNCON­ SCIOUS PERSON, A PERSON WITH DIABETES, OR A PERSON WITH POOR BLOOD CIRCULATION. DO NOT USE ON AREAS OF INSENSITIVE SKIN.
4. BURNS CAN OCCUR REGARDLESS OF CONTROL SETTING. CHECK SKIN UNDER PAD FREQUENTLY TO AVOID BURNING AND BLISTERING.
5. PLACE PAD ON TOP OF AND NOT UNDER THE PART OF THE BODY NEEDING HEAT­ BURNS CAN RESULT REGARDLESS OF CONTROL SETTING.
6. THIS PAD COMES WITH WITH A RE­ MOVABLE COVER. NEVER USE PAD WITHOUT COVER IN PLACE.
7. DO NOT USE IN OXYGEN ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT OR NEAR EQUIPMENT WHICH STORES OR EMITS OXYGEN.

Cautions:
• The Cloth Cover must always be used with the Heating Pad. The Self-Adhesive Belt has been designed to provide maximum flexibility and comfort. The ends will attach anywhere on the Cloth Cover to keep the Heating Pad in place. An Absorbent Sponge is provided for moist heat application.
• This massager should not be used in the following cases: Tuberculosis, benign and malignant tumors, hemorrhages, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, undetermined calf pain or joint pain.
• Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions regarding use of this massager.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a serious muscular injury before consuming your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs after application.

TO OPERATE
To operate the Heating Pad, first plug the cord into a standard 120v electrical outlet and press the “ON” switch button. The Indicator Light will illuminate to signal the Heating Pad is “ON”. Set the slide switch to choose between Low, Medium and High levels. Press the “OFF” switch button to turn off. For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 20 minutes at one time.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
