When using a battery-operated appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: Read all instructions before using this appliance.

2) This appliance should not be used by, on, or near children, or individuals with certain disabilities.
3) Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by Conair.
4) Never drop or insert any object into the product.
5) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
CAUTIONS
This massager should not be used in the following cases:
• Tuberculosis, benign and malignant tumors, hemorrhages, inflammations of the skin, phlebitis and thrombosis, open and fresh wounds, bruises, broken skin or varicose veins, undeter­mined calf pain, or joint pain.
• Consult your physician, if you have any therapeutic questions regarding use of this massager.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a serious muscular injury, before consulting your physi­cian.
• Keep away from children.
• Consult your physician before using if you are pregnant.
• Discontinue use of massage if pain increases or swelling occurs after application.

INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for your purchase of the Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager. This item requires 2 AA batteries (included) in order to use the massaging feature.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
You will find the battery compartment on the top of the unit.
1) At the battery cover notch gently push in and lift the cover. Insert the batteries so that the +/- terminals of the battery match the +/- markings in the battery compartment.
IMPORTANT
When insert batteries to this appliance. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
2) Close the compartment.
3) With one hand on the head and one on the body, press the release button and rotate the legs to desired massage intensity for a tight, moderate, or larger area. When the legs are in position, the release button will pop out.
4) Place the Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager on the area of your body you want to massage.
5) Turn the unit on by pushing the on/off power button.
6) After your massage, you may turn the Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager off by pushing the on/off power button.
If you are traveling or are not going to use the Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager for more than a few days, remove the batteries to extend their life and to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
Generally, massage should last only 15 minutes on any one par­ticular part of the body. Treatment may be applied once or twice daily as desired.
As metabolism varies among individuals, so does their response to massage. You will soon adjust the time to suit your particular needs and personal comfort. If you have any doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you consult your physician.
SOME SPECIFIC MASSAGE APPLICATIONS
GENERAL BODY MASSAGE: For general well-being,
enjoy a daily once-over light massage. It has a wonderfully soothing and relaxing effect.
NECK: Massage down from the base of the skull, on either side of the spine, for a few minutes.
SHOULDERS: Temporarily relieve minor muscle tension by lightly massaging the shoulders outward from the base of the neck for 4-5 minutes.
BACK: Massage along length of spine and shoulder blades to help temporarily relieve minor muscular backache.
ARMS: Stroke smoothly up from wrist to shoulder on inside and outside of arms, including palms, for 4-5 minutes.
LEGS AND FEET: Massage the ball and heel of the foot to temporarily relieve tired, aching muscles. Use even, upward strokes over all the leg surfaces.
SPORTS MASSAGE: Use your Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager as described in these instructions and you will enjoy the benefits and relief you would get from a masseuse.
MAINTENANCE
Your Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager is designed for household use only and is virtually maintenance-free. To clean your massager, use a dry cloth only. Do not use any strong chemical cleaners.
STORAGE
When not in use, you should remove the batteries from your Conair 3-in-1 Mini Massager and store it in a safe, dry location out of reach of children.
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 12 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service center listed below that is nearest you, together with your purchase and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period will be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province.
