USER MAINTENANCE

INSTRUCTION

Caring for The Complete Facial Spa™
After Completing Your Facial:

• Always turn off and unplug The Complete
Facial Spa™ from the electrical outlet before
cleaning.

• Let cool then empty excess water, and wipe
dry interior of the facial mask and rim around
the opening.

• Wipe the base with a clean, damp cloth,
then polish lightly with a dry one. NEVER
IMMERSE THE FACIAL SAUNA IN WATER.

• Store The Complete Facial Spa™ in a dry,
convenient location so it will be handy for
your next facial.

• Do not attempt to repair the appliance your

­self. Return to the place of purchase with
sales receipt.

CAUTION

Never allow the power supply cord to
be pulled, twisted or severely bent. Never
wrap the cord tightly around the unit. Damage
will occur at the high flex point of entry into
the unit, causing it to rupture and short circuit.
Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop
use immediately if damage is visible or unit
stops or operates intermittently.

The Complete Facial Spa™ is for household
use only.

THE COMPLETE FACIAL CARE SYSTEM

• Gentle rotating tool thoroughly cleanses,
exfoliates and massages skin, bringing it to a
peak of perfection!

How To Completely Care for Skin

1. Moisten skin with water and your favourite
cleanser.

2. Attach the cleansing brush to the Facial Care
System tool and press the ‘on’ button.

3. Gently, slowly move the rotating brush around
your face, paying particular attention to the cen­tre area, forehead, nose and chin. Repeat if your
skin is oily and your pores tend to clog.

4. Rinse skin thoroughly.

5. Attach massaging sponge to tool and go over
face again. The soft sponge will revive and stim­ulate facial muscles and bring a healthy glow to
your skin!

6. Moisturize if your skin is dry or chapped.

damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, or if it has been dropped, dam­aged, or dropped into water. Return the
appliance to a service centre for examina­tion and repair.

5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not wrap the cord around the appli­ance.

6. To avoid burning, do not pick up the unit
while water is hot since water can spill
out.

7. Never block the air openings of the appli

­ance or place it on a soft surface, such as
a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings
free of lint, hair, and other debris.

8. Never use while sleeping.

9. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening or hose.

10. Do not use outdoors or operate where
aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.

11. Do not use an extension cord with
this appliance.

12. Unplug this appliance before filling. Fill
reservoir with water only. Do not overfill.

13. Use Complete Facial Spa™ only on a level
surface.

14. Do not use additives.

15. Never place face close to facial steamer in
one position as this may cause scalding.

16. To avoid burning, do not touch after
plugging in water reservoir unit.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your
unit free of charge for 12 months from the date of
purchase if the appliance is defective in workman­ship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty,
return the defective product to the service centre
listed below, together with your purchase receipt and
$5.50 for postage and handling. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12
months from the date of manufacture.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS,
OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIM

­ITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MER­CHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PAR­TICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE 12 MONTH DURATION OF THIS
WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR
ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights, which vary from
province to province.

OPERATING

INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR

PERSONAL FACIAL/

RESPIRATORY THERAPY

Before beginning, cleanse your face, following
your daily care routine. Lightly pat your favorite
moisturizer or eye cream around the eye area.

Your Facial Spa includes two detachable
cones:

Facial Mask: Use for facial cleansing.
Sinus Cone: Use for concentrated steam to

assist in respiratory therapy.

• Turn facial mask or sinus cone counterclock

-

wise and lift away from base.

• Fill the water cylinder with warm tap water.
Pour water into the
reservoir and plug
it into a 120 volt AC
household outlet.
Press ON/OFF but­ton to turn unit on.
The “ON” indicator
light will illuminate.
(See Figure 1)

• Place facial mask or
sinus cone over unit.
Lock by aligning
bumps on facial mask
or sinus cone with slots
over water reservoir
and turn clockwise.
(See Figure 2)

• Press “ON/OFF” button
to turn unit on.

• When the power is on, the ready indicator
light will flash for 3 minutes as the water is
preheating.

• When the indicator light has stopped flash

­ing and is steady, you may use the Facial
Spa. Unit will automatically shut off after 60
minutes.

• FOR A TIMED TREATMENT

, the timer control
can be set from 3 to 15 minutes by rotating
the knob to desired time.

• Press the timer start button and the timer
indicator light will go on.

• The unit will shut off and a buzzer will sound
to indicate that preset time has expired.

• After completion of a timed treatment, you
may repeat above steps for another timed
treatment.

• Place The Complete Facial Spa™ on a dry,
level surface.

IMPORTANT:

Use Tap Water Only. Do Not Use Additives.
NOTE:

One fill provides between 10-30 minutes
of soothing mist. If The Complete Facial Spa™
should run out of water, shut unit off immediately,
then begin your facial again.

• Clean your face and neck.

• Allow approximately 3 to 4 minutes for steam

mist to develop, then place your face gently
near but not against the rim of the facial mask
or sinus cone. To avoid burning, do not pick
up the unit while water is hot since water will
spill out.

• If more steam is desired, place a towel over

your head so that it covers the mask and sides
of the steamer.

• Close your eyes and relax as the soothing mist

begins its deep cleansing action.

• Remove your face from unit occasionally and

blot with a cool, damp towel. Steam for at least
5 minutes, but no longer than 30 minutes.

• Immediately after steaming, rinse your face

with warm water. Next, apply cool water
or your favorite astringent to close pores
and seal in moisture. You may also wish to
apply your favorite moisturizer for extra soft­ness. After just one personal facial with The
Complete Facial Spa™ you’ll find your skin
looking fresher and healthier.

• Use the sinus cone to promote easier

breathing.

• Place your nose in the sinus cone with fore

-

head touching curved rim.

• Relax as soothing mist promotes easier

breathing. However, do not use as a room
humidifier.

SPECIAL PAMPERING TIPS

FOR DELICATE AREAS

THE EYE AREA

• Give special care to the eye area during your
personal facial, by lightly massaging additional
moisturizer or eye cream on eyelids and under
your eyes before you begin.

THE NECK & THROAT

• Apply your favorite moisturizer to your
entire face.

• Mist your face for only 5 minutes, following
Instructions For “Your Personal Facial”.

• Tilt your head backward so your throat is
approximately 2 inches from the facial mask.

• Mist your throat for 2 minutes. For best
results, accelerate moisturizing process by
gently turning neck from side to side.

SPECIAL USES

• Consult your physician or dermatologist
for instructions on how to best use The
Complete Facial Spa™ for your specific
condition.

• The Complete Facial Spa™ can be used as
a vaporizer and steam inhaler to promote
easier breathing.

• This unit includes a nasal cone that clears
nasal passages and assists with respiratory
therapy.
