The Conair FashionCur l™ has a tourmaline ceramic
easy-glide coated surfa ce, the newest technology. This
means it’s not only simpler to clean of f styling product
residue, etc. after each use, bu t you’ll find that hair

This styler features a high-performance heater that
maintains constant tempe rature during use for precision
styling. This Instan t Heat technology has two temper ature settings. There is a t emperature that’s gentle and

Conair FashionCurl™ is ener gy efficient. The sleep mod e
function drops the st yler's temperature to 300°F i f styler
remains idle after 20 minutes. A nd auto shut-off turns
the Conair FashionCurl™ o ff after 60 minutes.
USER MAINTENANCE
Your styler is virtually maint enance free. No lubrication
is needed. Keep all vents and openings c lear of dirt and
dust. If cleaning becomes nec essary, disconnect the
unit from the power source, allow to c ool and wipe
exterior with a cloth. If a ny abnormal condition occurs,
unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and r eturn it for repair
to an authorized service r epresentative only. No repairs
should be attempted by the cons umer.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the po wer supply cord to be pulled, twisted ,
or severely bent. Never wrap th e cord tightly around
the appliance. Damage will occur at the h igh flex point
of entry into the appliance, c ausing it to rupture and
short circuit. Inspec t the cord frequently for damage.
Stop use immediately if damage is vis ible or if unit stops
or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is eas y to store. Allow
appliance to cool, then simply sto re out of reach of
children in a safe, dry location . Do not jerk or strain cord
at plug connections. Do not wr ap the line cord around

DEL CALOR
Su aparato está equipado c on una resistencia de alto
rendimiento que logra un calenta miento muy rápido y
mantiene la temperatura cons tante durante el uso. Cuent a
con dos opciones de temperatura, para permitirle escoger
la temperatura perfec ta para su tipo de cabello, desde
el más fino hasta el más grueso, y s iempre obtener los
resultados deseados, sin l astimar el cabello. Y esto no
es todo... Su aparato también dis fruta de los mismos
estándares de calidad e ingenier ía que los aparatos
profesionales y cuenta con un sistema de recuperación
del calor. A diferencia de otras herra mientas cuya
temperatura baja durante el uso, este sistema mantiene
la temperatura constan te, sin pérdida de calor. Cada
sección de cabello está peinad a usando la misma
temperatura, lo que permite obtener resultados uniformes
y peinados perfectos.
El rizador automático FashionCurl™ de Conair es
energéticamente eficient e. Si no usa el aparato durante
más de 20 minutos, la temperatur a baja automáticamente
a 300°F (150°C) para ahor rar energía. Y el aparato se
apagado automáticamente después de 60 minutos.

MANTENIMIENTO
Su secador requiere poco mant enimiento. No necesita
lubricación. Mantenga toda s las aberturas libres de pol vos
y pelusas. Cuando sea neces ario limpiarlo, desenchúfelo,
permita que se enfríe y limpie la super ficie exterior con
un paño humedecido. En caso de mal fun cionamiento,
desconecte el aparato, pe rmita que se enfríe y regréselo
a un centro de servicio auto rizado; No trate de reparar
el aparato.
PRECAUCIÓN
NUNCA jale, retuer za ni doble mucho el cable. Nunca lo
enrolle con fuerza alrededor d el aparato; esto podría dañar
la junta flexible que lo conecta a l aparato, produciendo
su ruptura o un cortocirc uito. Revise el cable con frecuencia

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This styler is intended for h ousehold use. Use on Alternating Current (60 Hz) only. This uni t is designed to be
operated at 120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (o ne blade is wider
than the other). As a safe ty feature, this plug will fit in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug d oes not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse th e plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified elect rician. Do not attempt to defea t
this safety feature.
TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean, completely dr y and combed before
you use the curling device. Plug into an el ectrical outlet
and turn on the switch. The r ed LED will blink while
Conair FashionCurl™ is heating up. Red light m ust
stop blinking and be s teady before curling hai r.
WARNING: The styler's tourmaline ceramic-coated
curl chamber will get ve ry hot within
a few seconds and shou ld not be placed in contac t
with the skin aft er the styler has been t urned on.
The secret to Conair Fash ionCurl™ is how easy
it makes creating the perfe ct curl – one after another!
Hair goes in, curl comes out. I t’s that simple. For best
results, start wi th freshly washed and dried hair. If you
are curling the lower layers first , you might want to clip
some hair out of the way.
TO CURL HAIR (cont.)
Remember: Befor e starting, make s ure
the temperatur e indicator light has s topped
blinking.
1. Begin by carefully combing through hair to s mooth
it. Then take a ½ in. to 1 in. sectio n (Fig. A).
2. Please note the st yler must be
positioned into t he hair with the
opening of the curl ch amber facing
toward the head (Fig ure B).
3. Position the style r where you want
the curl to start. Th e hair
section must be straigh t,
and placed neatly
through the center of the
hair guide (Fig. C
and D).
4. Once the hair is in place, let go of the
hair section and close the han dle to allow
the hair to be automatically ta ken into
the curl chamber (Fig. E).
5. A series of beeps will sound, and on ce
you hear a rapid succession of qu ick
beeps, you know your curl is ready. Open
the Conair FashionCurl™ a nd gently pull
it away from the head to release a per fect
curl (Fig. F)! Let it c ool in place for a
minute to set the curl. Quick heat-up
and recovery, and Conair Fashio nCurl™’s
fully automatic curling technolo gy, let
you make consistently per fect curls – one
after another – effo rtlessly!

NOTE: Conair FashionCurl™’s new brushless motor
technology uses magnets ins tead of brushes to sense
any change in speed, and turns its elf off as an added
safety feature and to ens ure tangle-free curling action.
Minimizes weight, maximizes curl cont rol, and significantly extends the life of you r appliance.
NOTE: If you continue to hold the hair sec tion after
closing the handle, Conair Fash ionCurl™ will stop and
beep to indicate that you must relea se the tension on
the hair. If you have taken too much hair, or hair is not
neatly going through the cent er of the appliance, the
Conair FashionCurl™ will aga in stop and beep to indicate a problem. This safet y feature ensures there will
be no tangles.
MOST IMPORTANT: If hair does get tangled, unplug
the unit and gently wo rk the hair out of the unit.
Take very small strands one at a time and slow ly remove
from the chamber. If hair is tight around t he barrel,
carefully and gently loos en up hair outside of the tool
with your fingers removing small se ctions at a time.
Make sure fingers do not come in con tact with heated
chamber.
• The hair is automatically draw n into the ceramic curl
chamber, where it is softly held and he ated from all
directions to effor tlessly form the curl.
• The automatic beep indicato r will start as soon as the
handles are closed together. There w ill be a series of
individual beeps. Hold the st yler still, with the handles
held together, until the end of the individu al beeps. There
will then be four quick beeps in succes sion. This indicates
that the time is up and you can remove the s tyler from
your hair.
NOTE: Always release the handles fir st to set the curl
free; if you pull away before you open the h andles, the
curl will be straightened out .
• To allow the curl to set, do not comb or brush t he hair
until it cools.
• Repeat around the head until you have t he amount of
curls desired.
NOTE: Do not use this s tyling appliance on hai r extensions.

Auto Shut-Off: If the appliance is switched on for mor e

INSTRUCCIONES
DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solam ente. Utilícelo solamente con
corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este aparato ha sido diseñado
para funcionar con corrien te de 120V AC.
El cable de este aparato es tá dotado de una clavija polarizad a
(una pata es más ancha que otra). C omo medida de
seguridad, se podrá enchufa r de una sola manera en la
toma de corriente polarizada . Si no entrara en la toma
de corriente, inviértala . Si aún no entrara completamen te,
comuníquese con un electricis ta. No intente ir en contra
de esta función de seguridad.
CÓMO RIZAR EL CABELLO
El cabello debe estar limpio, comple tamente seco y
desenredado. Conecte el ca ble a una toma de corriente
y encienda el aparato. La luz roja empezará a parpadear
y seguirá parpadeando hasta que el aparato alcance
la temperatura de seada. Espere hast a que la luz deje
de parpadear y quede encendida para rizar el cabello.
ADVERTENCIA: la cámara rizadora con revestimiento
de cerámica/turmalina se volverá extremadamente
caliente en segund os. Evite el contacto con la pi el
después de encender el aparato.

Recuerda: Antes d e empezar, asegúrese de que
el indicador luminos o ya no esté parpadeando.
1. Peine el cabello para desenredarlo. S epare una sección
de cabello de ½–1 pulgada (1.5–2.5 cm) ( Fig. A).
2. Posicione el aparato d e tal manera
que la entrada de la cáma ra rizadora
apunte hacia la cabez a (Fig. B).
3. Coloque el aparato al nivel d onde desea
que empiecen los rizos.
Introduzca la sección de
cabello de manera recta
en el centro de la cámara
rizadora (Fig. C y D).
4. Suelte el cabello y cierre el mango; el
cabello se enrollará automát icamente (Fig.
E).
5. Mantenga el mango cerrado ha sta la
señal sonora que indica el final del t iempo.
¡Abra el mango y aleje suavemente el
aparato de la cabeza para so ltar rizos
perfectos (Fig. F )! Permita que el cabello
se enfríe durante un minuto par a fijar los

NOTA: el rizador automático FashionCurl™ de Conair
está equipado con un motor sin es cobillas dotado de

regulan la velocidad para rizar el c abello de manera más
segura, sin enredos. Est a tecnología hace que el aparato
sea más liviano, proporciona mayo r control y extiende la
vida útil del motor.
NOTA: si no su elta el cabello antes de cerrar el mang o,
el aparato se detendrá y emitir á un pitido. El aparato
también se detendrá y emitirá un pi tido si la sección de
cabello está demasiado grue sa, o si el cabello no se está
enrollando debidamente. Esta característica de seguridad
garantiza que el cabello no se enr ede.
MUY IMPORTANTE: si el cabello se enreda, desconecte
el cable de la toma de corriente y desenrede
suavemente el cabel lo. Jale suavemente el cabello fuera
de la cámara rizadora, agar rando solamente una sección
muy fina a la vez. Si el cabello está muy ap retado alrededor
del tubo, suelte el cabello suave y cuidado samente con
sus dedos antes jalar las secc iones finas de cabello, una
por una. Tenga cuidado de no tocar la cámara c aliente.
• El cabello se enrolla automátic amente adentro de la
cámara rizadora con reves timiento de cerámica, la cual
lo mantiene y lo calienta suavemente d esde todos los
ángulos para crear hermoso s rizos sin esfuerzo.
• El aparato emitirá el primer pit ido al cerrar el mango.
Durante el proceso, el apar ato emite una serie de pitidos
individuales. Sostenga el aparato firmemente, con el
mango bien cerrado, hasta el f inal de los pitidos individuales.
Después del último pitido individu al, el aparato emitirá
cuatro pitidos rápidos, l os cuales indican que es tiempo
de soltar el cabello.
NOTA: siempr e abra el mango antes de alejar el apar ato
de la cabeza, o podría alisar lo s rizos.
• Permita que el cabello se enfríe a ntes de peinarlo para
"fijar" los rizos.
• Repita alrededor de la cabeza , hasta conseguir el efecto
deseado.
NOTA: no utilice este ap arato sobre cabello s intético/
extensiones.
MECANISMOS DE SEGURIDAD
El rizador automático FashionCurl™ de Conair cuenta
con 3 funciones de seguridad/a horro de energía.
Apagado automático: Para su seguri dad, el aparato se
apagará automáticamente después de 60 minutos si usted
olvidó de apagarlo. Para volver a e ncender el aparato,
simplemente ponga el botón de encendido/apagado sobre
"OFF", y luego ponga control de temperatura e n la posición
deseada.
Modo de espera: Si no usa el aparato durante más de
20 minutos, la temperatura b aja automáticamente a 300°F
(150°C) para ahorrar energía .
Detector de movim iento: El aparato empieza a cale ntar
de nuevo hasta que temperatur a seleccionada al cerrar
el mango.
NOTA: la cá mara calentadora estar á muy caliente; no la
toque.

FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO

Si su cabello es fino, le recomendamo s que utilice el nivel
de temperatura bajo. Si su cabell o es espeso, grueso,
