DANGER – Any appliance is electrically
live, even when the switch is off.
To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric

1. If you are using the appliance in a bathroom,
unplug it after you have finished using it.
Using the appliance close to a source of
water can, in fact, be dangerous, even if the
unit is switched off.
2. Always unplug the appliance after each use
and before cleaning it.

10. Unplug the appliance immediately if you
have problems when using it.
11. To prevent damage to the cord, do not wrap
it around the appliance. Ensure that it is
stored without twisting and folding the cord.
12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then to
outlet. To disconnect, turn all controls to OFF
position before removing plug from outlet.

that can be used on an alternating current (100120V AC).

these instructions carefully.

OPERATION
1. For wet/dry use. Do not submerge the unit
completely in water.
2. When not in use or charging, unplug unit
completely.
3. Unit will become warm during use.
CAUTION
1. Risk of electric shock–do not submerge
unit in water.
2. Plug the adapter in a 100-240V AC 50/60 Hz
outlet. Ensure jack is plugged into the epilator
unit before plugging the adapter into the outlet.
3. Do not operate any appliance that has a
damaged output cord or housing.
4. Always unplug the unit before cleaning or
when not in use or charging.
5. Be sure voltage is correct before plugging in.

HOW TO CHARGE
1. Before using the epilator for the first time,
charge continuously for 2 hours. Maximum
battery capacity will be reached only after
three charging and discharging cycles.
Always make sure that the on/off switch is in
the OFF position.
2. Plug the adapter into a 100–240V AC 50/60
Hz outlet.
3. Plug the cord into the unit.
4. The red charging light indicates the unit is
being charged. The green light indicates the
unit is fully charged.
5. Preserving the batteries: in order to maintain
the optimum capacity of the rechargeable
batteries, the epilator should be recharged for
16 hours approximately every three months.
WARNING
1. Women whose skin is sensitive to cosmetics
or easily irritated by shaving, or who suffer
from a skin allergy, should test one section of
the leg or arm before using the epilator.
2. The epilation head is a precisely finished
piece. Do not press hard against the epilation
head. A warped or distorted epilation head
will produce poor depilation results. Also
a damaged epilation head may cause skin
injury. A damaged epilation head should be
replaced immediately.
3. When cleaning, use cold or warm water. Do
not use hot water, seawater, or cleaners, as
they can cause damage to the waterproof
seals.
4. Do not leave the entire unit submerged in
water for a long period of time.
5. To prevent damage to the epilation head,
women who use underarm deodorant must
thoroughly clean and air-dry the epilation head
after use. Failure to do this may result in corrosion.
6. Keep out of reach of children.

Body Epilator used in the shower or in the bath
offers even the most sensitive skin a perfect
and complete, gentle solution. The two epilation
heads and the shaving head provide complete
solutions for total body grooming.
USING THE EPILATOR
If you are new to epilation or have not used an
epilator in a long time, it may take a short while
for your skin to adapt to epilation. Initial discomfort felt will decrease over time. While using the
Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1
Total Body Epilator, you
may find that quantity and density of hair growth
lessen.
The Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1
Total Body Epilator
is designed for efficient and comfortable removal
of unwanted hair. The ergonomic design is specially designed for precise epilation of all parts
of the body, even the least accessible. Our ultraprecision tweezers capture even the finest hair
(optimal length 0.5 cm). The hair that grows back
should be both thinner and softer. Epilating will
leave your skin satiny smooth for several weeks.
EPILATION

Epilator in the bath: Keep your leg out of the
water. Place it, for example, on the edge of the
bathtub. Your leg should be damp but not completely submerged in the bath water. Do not
immerse the appliance entirely.

Epilator in the shower: Take your Satiny
Smooth™ 3-in-1 Total Body Epilator into the
shower with you. The appliance will glide over
your skin more easily if skin is thoroughly wet.
For use in the bath or shower, your skin
must be thoroughly wet and rid of all traces
of soap and oil.
• You can also use the Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1
Total Body Epilator appliance out of the bath or
shower, but be careful to remove all traces of oil
or moisturizer from your skin.
NOTE: Using an epilator may cause reddening
or irritation of the skin. This is a normal reaction
that will disappear shortly. If the irritation does
not disappear within a few days, you should
consult your doctor.
1. Make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free
of any creams, greases, or oils.
2. Choose your desired speed: Low speed for
sensitive areas and high speed for your legs
and arms.
3. With your free hand, hold the skin tight to
ensure that the hairs stand up straight.
4. Place the Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1 Total Body
Epilator flat against the skin, with the epilation head forming a 90° angle to the skin.
5. With a slow continuous movement, pass
the unit in the direction of hair growth
across the skin. If results are not optimal
passing the unit in the direction of the hair
growth, small circular movements along the
skin will also produce desired results.
6. Repeat process over desired areas until
unwanted hair is removed.
7. Once complete, turn off the epilator and
remove the adapter if corded.
SENSITIVE AREA ATTACHMENT
For hair removal on your most sensitive areas,
remove the full-size epilation attachment and
replace it with the sensitive-area attachment as
follows.

2. Press the epilation attachment release button
located on the side of the unit. (A)
3. Remove the full-size epilation attachment. (B)
4. Position the sensitive-area attachment in the
correct location covering the top of the unit.
5. Press gently until the attachment clicks into
position.
LEG/FULL ARM EPILATION
1. Using the full-size epilation attachment, begin
epilation at the lower leg/
arm and move upward.
2. For optimal results behind
the knee/elbow, keep the
leg/arm out straight, so
that the skin is taut.
UNDERARM EPILATION
NOTE: The underarm and bikini area are especially sensitive to epilation. Sensitivity reduces
over time.
1. For optimum results, attach
the sensitive-area attachment and have the hair at
0.5 cm in length.
2. To ensure comfort, set the
unit to the low speed.
3. Hold the skin stretched. For
your underarm, raising the
arm can create stretched
skin. To remove hair, move
the epilator in an upward
motion and then a downward motion.
SHAVING/BIKINI AREA EPILATION
For hair removal on your
most sensitive areas, remove
the full size epilation head
attachment and replace it
with the shaving and bikini
trimming head attachment.
1. Ensure that the Satiny
Smooth
™
3-in-1 Total Body Epilator is turned off.
2. Press the epilation attachment release button
located on the side of the unit.
3. Remove the full size epilation head attachment.
4. Position the shaving and bikini trimming head
attachment in the correct location covering
the top of the unit.
5. Press gently until the attachment clicks into
position.
For bikini area styling, the Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1 Total Body Epilator has 3 cutting guides
to style the bikini area by making the desired
adjustment to the hair length.
1. Ensure that the Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1 Total
Body Epilator is turned off.
2. Attach the cutting guide to the shaving and
bikini trimming head attachment.
3. Turn the unit on.
4. To remove hair from your bikini line, carefully stretch your skin and move the epilator
from the outside in. Hold the unit at a slight
angle to the skin and move slowly against the
direction of hair growth.

1. Cargue el aparato durante 2 horas antes del

libre de crema/loción hidratante o aceite.
NOTA: Usar una depiladora puede causar rojez o
irritación de la piel. Eso es una reacción normal
que desaparecerá rápidamente. Si la irritación
persiste durante varios días, busque atención
médica.
1. Cerciórese que su piel está limpia, seca y
libre de cremas, lociones o aceites.
2. Elija la velocidad deseada. Utilice la velocidad

3. Estire la piel con una mano para erguir los

COSMETIC/FACIAL EPILATION
NOTE: Facial epilation is for upper lip and
chin ONLY.
1. For optimum results, attach the sensitivearea attachment.
2. To ensure comfort, set the unit to the Low
speed.
3. Hold the skin taut.
TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
1. For first-time epilator users, we recommend
epilating the skin in the evening to allow time
for redness to disappear.
2. To prepare skin for epilation, we recommend
taking a warm bath or shower to clean the skin.
3. Following epilation, it is recommended that
moisture creams be applied to relax the skin.
4. Hair removal of any kind may result in
ingrown hairs. We recommend regular exfoliation of skin to prevent ingrown hairs.
5. To avoid infection, we recommended regular
cleaning of the epilation head.
IMPORTANT
Do not use on open sores, burns, warts, beauty
spots, sunburned skin or varicose veins. Do
not use if you have a skin irritation or infection, like psoriasis or eczema, on your legs. Do
not use for shaving or removing hair from your
face (with the exception of upper lip and chin)
head, chest, eyebrows, eyelashes, or genitals.
The Satiny Smooth
™
3-in-1 Total Body Epilator
is intended exclusively for use on legs, arms,
underarms, and bikini line.
MAINTENANCE

CLEANING
1. Check to make sure the epilator is in the OFF
position and the adapter is removed from the
outlet.
2. Press the epilation attachment release button, removing the attachment.
3. Once the epilation head is removed from the
unit, submerge ONLY the head under water
to clean it.
5. Dry completely before replacing the head
back onto the unit.
6. To remove additional debris from the epilation
head, gently wipe with alcohol. Using a cotton
swab, place a small amount of alcohol on the
swab and gently dab the epilation head until
debris is removed.
NOTE: The body of the epilator can be wiped
using a cloth dampened with some
soft detergent.
STORAGE
When not in use, your epilator should be
disconnected, allowed to cool and stored in a
safe, dry location, out of reach of children.
Any other servicing should be performed by
an authorized service representative. This
appliance has no user-serviceable parts. This
product is for household use.

BATTERY REMOVAL
1. Remove the decoration plate from the unit. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver, open the
units top and bottom housings.
2. Open the top and bottom housings by hand or with a screw driver. Remove screws from the
inner main body.
3. The battery should now be exposed so you can separate the wire connectors. Carefully hold
the wires on each side of the connector and gently cut the wires.
The connector will separate and the battery can be removed from the inner housing. Bring the
battery to the nearest collection center for disposal or call the toll-free RBRC information line at
1-800-8-BATTERY. RBRC is a trademark of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation.
DO NOT throw the battery into the normal municipal waste system.

DEPILACIÓN DEL ROSTRO
NOTA: Depile SOLAMENTE el bigote y la
barbilla.
1. Para resultados óptimos, utilice el cabezal
para áreas sensibles.

baja.

CONSEJOS PARA RESULTADOS ÓPTIMOS
1. Si es la primera vez que se depila con
una depiladora, le aconsejamos que se
depile de noche, para permitir que la rojez
desaparezca durante la noche.
2. Le aconsejamos que tome un baño o una
ducha caliente antes de depilarse para
limpiar la piel.
3. Use crema/loción hidratante después de la
depilación para relajar la piel.
4. Extraer los vellos, con cualquier método,
puede causar vellos encarnados. Le
recomendamos que exfolie su piel
regularmente para evitar los vellos
encarnados.
5. Para evitar las infecciones, le aconsejamos
que limpie el cabezal de depilación
regularmente.
IMPORTANTE
No utilice el aparato sobre heridas abiertas,
quemaduras, verrugas, lunares, piel quemada
por el sol o venas varicosas. No lo use si tiene
una infección/irritación de la piel, como la
psoriasis o el eczema. No utilice el aparato para
depilar el rostro (excepto el bigote y la barbilla),

INSTRUCCIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO
NOTA: Para asegurar un rendimiento duradero,
le recomendamos que desinfecte los cabezales
de depilación regularmente.
LIMPIEZA
1. Asegúrese de que el aparato esté apagado y
desconectado.
2. Presione el botón de liberación del cabezal y
retire el cabezal de depilación.
3. Tras retirar el sistema de depilación, sumerja
éste (y SOLAMENTE éste) en agua para
limpiarlo.
5. Permita que seque completamente antes de
volver a armar el aparato.
6. Para eliminar los residuos, limpie
suavemente el cabezal con alcohol, usando
un bastoncillo empapado en alcohol y
restregando suavemente el cabezal hasta
haber eliminado todos los residuos.
NOTA: Limpie el cuerpo del aparato con
un paño ligeramente humedecido con
detergente suave.
ALMACENAJE
Después de usar el aparato, desconéctelo,
permita que enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar
seco y seguro, fuera del alcance de los niños.
Cualquier otro servicio debe ser realizado
por un técnico autorizado. Este aparato no
contiene partes que puedan ser reparadas

REMOCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
1. Retire la placa decorativa del aparato. Abra el cuerpo con un pequeño destornillador
cruciforme.
2. Separe la parte superior y la parte inferior del cuerpo a mano o con un destornillador. Saque
los tornillos en el interior del cuerpo.
3. Ahora, la batería está descubierta, lo que permite separar los conectores que juntan los
alambres. Agarre los alambres por ambos lados del conector y córtelos con cuidado.
Los conectores se separarán, lo que permitirá remover la batería. Lleve la batería al centro
de reciclaje más cercano o llame a la línea de información de la RBRC al 1-800-8-BATTERY
para más información. RBRC es una marca registrada de la organización Rechargeable Battery
