iPAQ MP3800 Micro Projector

The most powerful executive-level mobile projector in the industry

Compaq is pleased to announce the iPAQ MP3800 Micro Projector, the newest member of the world's coolest family of micro projectors. The iPAQ MP3800 is the most powerful executive-level mobile projector in the industry and is ideally suited for corporate applications.
Highly mobile
No other micro product packs the same quality and features into such a compact form. With dimensions of only 1937 cubic cm and a weight of 1.6 kg, this projector has one of the smallest footprints of any micro projector in the market—smaller than an A4 sized sheet of paper. The projector's compact design makes room for more work space on the conference table, while tripod mounting takes the unit off the table entirely.
Sleek, durable tower design
The iPAQ MP3800's stylish award-winning black and silver design matches perfectly with Compaq PCs. The tower form factor takes up less room than a flat projector, while dramatically reducing the keystone effect found in other table projectors that have a lower lens height. The projector is durable enough to withstand continuous use. The magnesium casing is 20 percent stronger than plastic and 30 percent lighter than aluminum, yet rugged enough to withstand the rigors of life on the road.
Easy to use
The AutoSynch feature automatically interprets and adjusts incoming computer graphics and video signals to ensure that the highest quality images are displayed. Just plug it in and the unit is ready to use in seconds. User -friendly controls include an exclusive intuitive onscreen menu, remote control, integrated zoom lens and QuickChange lamp. Careful design helps reduce background noise to a mere 37 decibels, making the iPAQ MP3800 one of the quietest projectors available.
Bright, sharp displays
The iPAQ MP3800 is one of the brightest micro projectors in the industry, featuring 1300 lumens of lighting intensity. Complementing the unit's superior projection quality is an impressive 800:1 contrast ratio and a native 1024 x 768 XGA resolution. Other performance-enhancing featu res include:
> Silicon Image DVDO deinterlacing
technology converts an interlaced video signal to a non-interlaced signal to offer crisp, clear imaging without any jitters.
> Texas Instruments DLP (digital light
processing) technology eliminates the "screen door" effect found in most front-projection LCD models.
Integrated multimedia
Compaq worked with Pixelworks™ engineers to customize an ImageProcessor chip that provides wide-ranging compatibility with nearly every brand of personal computer and video source on the market. The projector includes both analog (VGA) and digital video inputs. The optional home theater kit lets users attach video and S-video inputs from any VCR, DVD or camcorder device. The projector is capable of displaying full-motion video and High Definition TV (HDTV). High-quality audio is provided courtesy of the built-in two-watt speaker.
Worldwide service and support
The iPAQ MP3800 is supported by a comprehensive three-year limited pick-up and return warranty in Europe, which helps limit costs, downtime and inconvenience. The internal light bulb is covered by a 90-day standard warranty. During this period, any defective bulb will be replaced by overnight delivery. Support is available online at www.hp.com.
