The HP bd340i 12X BD/DVD/CD Writer offers the ideal solution for authoring or playback of content stored on Blu-ray Disc. It lets you enjoy exceptional picture and sound quality that comes with high-definition Blu-ray movies. The HP bd340i not only lets you write or play back high-definition content on Blu-ray media, but you can also preserve, edit, back up, and share video, photos, and data.

The HP bd340i is capable of recording on today’s most popular BD, DVD and CD formats. It writes BD-R at up to 12X, BD-R/RE at 2X, and reads BD media at 8X; it can also record DVD±R at 16X, DVD±R DL at 8X, rewritable DVDs at 8X and DVD-RAM at 2X.

The HP bd340i features LightScribe technology which allows you to create beautiful labels on LightScribe CD or DVD discs. It also incorporates the latest Serial ATA (SATA) interface to provide fast transfer rates.
