Synchro screen during synchronization
Page 2
Abstract
Some users using Intelivision 5 would like to modify or create their own screens, which will be more suitable for their application or for their actual needs. Now it is easy with using a graphical Screen editor which is a part of GenConfig PC tool.
The example shows step by step how to modify screen to be possible to jump from Main screen of InteliVision 5 to Synchro screen when synchronization to Mains is active.

Detailed description of solution
InteliVision 5 allows showing/hiding whole screens in virtue of a result of an input evaluation. From version GenConfig 3.0 it is possible to assign up to four Masks to every metering screen and
even to every instrument on a screen. In virtue of evaluation of used Masks is hide/show given screen/instrument. It means up to four events can show/hide given component.
The solution of change one screen to different one uses above introduced Masks. Below you can find the procedure how to do it. The order of steps is not decisive.
Create the new Synchro screen
- Go “Screen structure & select Synchro screen
- Press on a right button of a mouse and choose “Copy screen
The new Synchro screen is being added now behind old one
- Change the position of the screen by drugging the screen to the second position in the list (behind Main screen)
- Insert the name of screen (Synchro auto or leave in name Synchro 2) in Screen properties section (at bottom right of SE)
- Check “User Mask 1” & “User Mask 2”
It ensures that Synchro Auto screen becomes visible when “ForwardSynchro” or “ReverseSynchro” is active.

When Main screen becomes invisible, the screen behind Main screen is displayed.
Now configuration is set and it is possible to upload it to a controller.

- Press a right button of a mouse and choose “Add Metering screen
Now the new Metering screen is being added at the end of all screens (see the picture below). A user can set in “Screen properties” section:
