The open front merchandisers are designed to maintain a product temperature below 40 degrees Fahrenheit or 4 degrees Celsius They are not intended for the storage of open food but would be suitable for the storage of packaged processed foods. These units have been installed in airports, as well as other self-service applications for many years.
