Three Phase to Single Phase Conversion

1. Unplug the balancer from the power source.
2. Remove the weight tray shield from the balancer.
3. Remove the two (2) screws that retain the plas-
tic side pocket on the left side of the balancer.
4. Attach the capacitor and bracket assembly to the
left side of the balancer.
5. Unplug the three phase jumper from the motor
control board slot marked “capacitor”.
6. Tape the three phase jumper to the capacitor
assembly for use in converting the unit back to three
phase.
7. Insert the connector on the capacitor wires into
the slot used previously for the three phase jumper
marked “capacitor”.
8. Change the plug on the power cord and connect
the wires to the single phase plug according to the
diagram in figure 1. The white wire is not used for single phase and should be folded back and taped
securely to the other wires.
9. The white wire in the power cord is not used for
single phase and should be unplugged from the motor
control board, folded back, and t aped securely to the
other wires.
10. Install the weight tray shield and weight tray.
11. Install the plastic side pocket.
12. Clean the area of the hood above the “wheel
size limit” decal p/n 8111883 and apply the “duty
cycle” decal p/n 8113462 to that area.
