A Pair of 4-Button/12-Channel ACG Remote Controls— Fingertip command

from a typical range of 100 feet. Each remote control has a gorgeous laminated burlwood case.

✔ AntiScan™ — Some car thieves still use “scanners” that transmit one digital

code after another until they hit the one code that disarms the alarm. AntiScan blocks scanners to prevent disarming by anyone other than you.

✔ Anti-CodeGrabbing™ (ACG™) with Random Code Encryption— A

code-grabber is a new device that lets a thief record and capture off the air from a distance the digital code transmitted by your remote control whenever you arm your car. When you leave, the thief replays the code to disarm the alarm and unlock your car’s doors. ACG with Random Code Encryption makes thieves’ code-grabbers completely useless, because each time you press the button on your remote control a different random code is transmitted, yet the system will flawlessly recognize and respond to your transmitter’s new code and ignore all others.

Remotely Adjustable Dual-Zone Proximity Sensor IV™— With just a touch

on the remote control, you may, at any time or place, adjust and test the sensitivity of this efficient microprocessor-controlled, solid-state passenger compartment sensor. The two sensor zones provide full perimeter protection: If someone is lurking near your vehicle, the system will verbally warn him away before he even touches your vehicle. But if a thief actually leans into the passenger compartment, the full alarm will sound.

Tonal Confirmation of Sensor Adjustments — As you remotely increase

sensitivity, the confirming chirps rise in pitch. Conversely, as you lower each zone’s sensitivity, the confirmation chirps become lower and lower in pitch.

Adjust and Test Unobtrusively — No repeated arming and disarming, and no siren

wailing. You set and test sensitivity without activating the alarm!

of protection to immobilize the ignition and fuel systems. Even if a thief were to cut all the alarm wires, he would still be unable to start the engine.

optional remote trunk release can be activated only when disarmed. To further prevent unintentional opening of the trunk, the interlock also makes sure that the trunk release cannot be remotely activated while driving.

High-Luminescence LED with Automatic Battery-Saving Mode— Adds

visual deterrence and identifies system status. To conserve vehicle battery power (the LED draws more current than the entire control unit) the LED flash rate will automatically be slowed to half it normal rate after the system has remained armed for 48 hours, and a quarter its normal rate after 96 hours.
