2. Installation and set up
First please put on the white gloves to avoid finger prints on the surface of the acrylic
chassis during installation.
1. Place the chassis with the spikes upside down on a
clean and levelled surface. Now take the turntable
platter incl. the upper part of the bearing and place it
carefully on the axis as shown in the right picture.
During this procedure please pay attention not to place
any of the grease on the acrylic surface of the chassis.
There should not be any air left inside the bearing.
2. Be sure that the two markings (platter, upper part of the
bearing) are positioned as shown in the above figure.
Picture 1: Placing the platter
3. The following adjustment is very important:
should the air bubble in the level gauge not be in the black
circle (see at the blow up), please ensure then that your
underground so will be according aligned. Only if the
turntable will be aligned you will receive the optimum on
sound.
4. Place the pulley on the motor spindle. The distance
between the pulley and the motor housing should be
approx. 1mm. Tighten the little screws inside the pulley
with the aluminium screwdriver provided.

5. Take the motor and place it in the indent of the
chassis. The switch should be on the outside of the
turntable and the space between motor and chassis
approx. 1cm
Picture 5: Placing the motor
6. Place the belt first round the platter, then round the smaller diameter of the pulley
(33 1/3 rpm). For a better figurative representation the belts shown in the user
manual are in black colour (original transparent).
7. The tension of the belt can be changed by turning the
motor about its axis. The tension is correct if the
correct turntable speed is achieved within 10 seconds.
If the tension is too high, the motor could start
to vibrate a little bit. If the tension is too loose, the
turntable will not achieve a constant and correct speed.
Picture 6: Turning the motor
If you have a hum noise in the platter bearing, please
ground the bearing with the grounding cable! Please put
the male plug in the hole of the bearing screw.
8. For mounting the tonearm and the cartridge, please use
the special user manual for your tonearm and
cartridge!

turntable!
3. Speed calibration
Install the drive belt, first around the platter, then around the motor pulley. There are
two diameters on the motor pulley:
• smaller for 33 1/3 rpm
• larger for 45 rpm
To correctly adjust the belt tension, turn the motor around its axis. Proper tension will
be achieved through eccentric placement of the motor pulley or if you have enough
space on your platform, just change the distance between the motor and the turntable
chassis. The belt tension is correct if the belt can be deflected by approximately ¾inch
by a finger.
