Netbook Adaptor

Safety

Only use with DC voltage from a 12 V car cigarette
lighter socket.

• Incorrect voltage or polarity can damage your netbook.

• Only connect the adaptor to devices with a maximum
power load of 45 W.

• Do not dismantle the adaptor.

• Unplug the adaptor from the cigarette lighter socket
when it is not in use.

• Turn off your netbook before connecting/disconnecting
the adaptor.

• Start your car before connecting the adaptor to the
cigarette lighter socket and switching on your computer.

• This adaptor is only intended for devices with a positive (+)
centre conductor.

Selecting the output voltage

The adapter has a choice of 7 output voltages (9.5 V, 12 V,
15 V, 16 V, 18 V, 19 V and 20 V).

Select the correct voltage before connecting the adaptor to
your netbook. Check the rating plate or marking next to the
power input socket of your netbook to make sure that you use
the correct voltage. Information about the operating voltage
can even be found in the instruction manual for your netbook.
Make sure that your netbook does not draw more power than
the adaptor capacity. Refer to the specifications for your
particular model.

Adjust the output voltage using the switch on the front of the
adaptor. Bear in mind that an incorrect voltage setting may
seriously damage your netbook. If you are unsure: Do not
connect the adaptor to your netbook. Contact our Customer
Services.

The adaptor comes with six different sized interchangeable
connectors.

Positive or negative polarity

There are two polarities for direct current (DC): positive and
negative. This adaptor is only intended for devices with a po­sitive (+) centre conductor. The interchangeable connectors
cannot be connected incorrectly. They can only be connected
in one way which gives a positive (+) centre conductor.

Make sure to securely fasten the connector to the end of the
lead and make sure the connector is free from dust or conta­minants. This is extremely important for establishing a good
connection.

Connecting to a USB device

• It is possible to connect USB devices (iPods, MP3s, etc) to
the adaptor whilst you are charging your netbook or have it
in standby mode.

• The output from the USB port is 5 V DC, 1 A. Do not
connect a USB device which draws more current than 1A.

• Connect the adaptor to the cigarette lighter socket. The
LED on the adaptor will light up to indicate that it is on.

• The USB port is always live and can be used regardless
of the output voltage setting.

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you
are unsure of how to dispose of this product, please contact
your local authority.

Säkerhet

Endast avsedd för anslutning till 12 V cigarrettändaruttag.

• Fel spänning eller polaritet kan skada din netbook.

• Anslut endast batterieliminatorn till apparat som har en
strömförbrukning av max 45 W

• Demontera inte batterieliminatorn.

• Ta proppen ur cigarrettändaruttaget när batterieliminatorn
inte används.

• Stäng av din netbook innan du ansluter/tar bort
batteriproppen.

• Starta bilen innan du ansluter batterielimintorn till
cigarrettändaruttaget och startar datorn.

• Batterieliminatorn är endast avsedd för apparater som
har positiv (+) centrumledare.

Val av utspänning

• Batterieliminatorn har 7 olika inställningar för utspänning
(9,5/12 V, 15 V, 16 V, 18/19/20 V).

Ställ in rätt spänning innan du ansluter batterieliminatorn till din
netbook. Kontrollera märkskylten eller eventuell spänningsan­givelse intill ingångsjacket på din netbook. Information om drift­spänning kan även finnas i användarmanualen till din netbook.
Kontrollera även att din netbook inte drar mer ström än vad
batterieliminatorn klarar, se specifikationer för respektive modell.

Justera spänningen med reglaget på framsidan av batterieli­minatorn. Tänk på att en felaktig inställning av spänningen
kan förstöra din netbook. Om du är osäker: försök aldrig att
koppla ihop batterieliminatorn med din netbook. Kontakta vår
kundtjänst.

Eliminatorn levereras med 6 st. utbytbara batteriproppar av
olika storlekar.

Positiv eller negativ polaritet

Det finns två polariteter på likspänning: positiv och negativ.
Batterieliminatorn är endast avsedd för apparater som har
positiv (+) centrumledare. De utbytbara batteripropparna kan
inte förväxlas och kan bara anslutas på ett sätt, så att de ger
positiv (+) centrumledare.

Var noga med att skjuta ihop proppen och kabeländen
ordentligt, se även till att kontaktstiften är rena. Detta är
mycket viktigt för att undvika glappkontakt.

Anslutning med USB-enhet

• Det går att ansluta USB-enheter (iPod, MP3 etc.) med
batterieliminatorn medan du laddar datorn eller har den
i standbyläge.

• USB-porten lämnar 5 V DC, 1 A. Anslut ingen USB-enhet
som har en strömförbrukning på mer än 1 A.

• Anslut batterieliminatorn till cigarettuttaget. Lysdioden på
laddaren tänds för att indikera att laddaren är på.

• USB-uttaget är alltid på och kan användas oavsett vad
reglaget är inställt på.

Avfallshantering

När du ska göra dig av med produkten ska detta ske enligt
