Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and save it for

Safety

• Do not place the Bluetooth speaker where it could fall into water or other liquids.
Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto the product such as vases,
drinks, etc.

• Never subject the Bluetooth speaker to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration,
impacts, humidity or moisture.

• Do not place the Bluetooth speaker on soft surfaces such as beds, sofas
or blankets; as the ventilation openings might become obstructed.

• The Bluetooth speaker should not be placed in a confined space such
as a cupboard or on a shelf which restricts air flow.

• The Bluetooth speaker must only be connected to a standard domestic
100–240 V, 50–60 Hz electrical supply.

• The standby switch on the remote control does not disconnect the product
from the power supply.

• Disconnect the Bluetooth speaker from the power supply by unplugging it from
the wall socket. Make sure that the wall socket and plug are easily accessible.

• Do not abuse the adaptor’s mains lead. Do not carry the adaptor by its mains lead.
Grasp and pull the plug and not the mains lead when unplugging the product.
Make sure that the mains lead does not come into contact with heat, sharp edges
or is crushed.

• Unplug the mains adaptor from the wall socket if there is a thunderstorm risk.

• This product is intended for indoor use only.

• Never attempt to tamper with or modify the Bluetooth speaker in any way.

• Do not use the Bluetooth speaker if it is in any way damaged or does not

function correctly.

• Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer.

• The Bluetooth speaker should only be repaired by qualified service technicians

using original parts.

1. [ ►ll ] I standby mode: Press once for Bluetooth, press again to return to standby
mode. Playback mode: Press to select play/pause (expect a slight delay in
the playback/pause function after pressing). Remember that you must unplug
the Bluetooth speaker in order to completely isolate it from your electrical network.

Remote Control

• Remote control batteries: 2 x AAA/LR03.

• Slide the battery cover downwards and

insert batteries.

• Note the polarity markings in the battery
compartment to ensure correct insertion.

• Refit the battery cover.

• Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix

rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.

• Remove the batteries if the remote control is not
to be used for a long period.

Remote control tips:

• Point the remote control directly at the Bluetooth speaker, making sure that
you are within range (max 3 m).

• If either the Bluetooth speaker or remote control is exposed to strong sunlight
the signals between them may be blocked.

Operating instructions

1. Connect the mains lead to the adaptor and then connect the adaptor lead
to the Bluetooth speaker.

2. Plug the adaptor into a wall socket.

3. The Bluetooth speaker’s LED indicator (7) will show red to indicate that
it is in standby mode.

Bluetooth playback

Note: The Bluetooth speaker may only be synced to one device at a time.

1. Press [ ►ll ]. The LED indicator will flash blue which indicates that the speaker
is available for pairing.

2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired and place it into search mode.

3. The Bluetooth speaker will appear as “MW-1328BT” on your device. Select
this as the device to be connected. Refer to your device’s instruction manual
if you are unsure. Note: If you are prompted to enter a PIN code, you should
enter “0000” (four noughts). Certain devices may even require you to approve
the connection.

4. Once connection has been established the speaker’s LED will show a steady blue.

5. Start playback on the paired device.

6. Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker to achieve the desired
volume level.

Aux-in playback

1. Press [ ►ll ]. The LED indicator will flash blue which indicates that it is available
for pairing.

2. Press [ M ] until the LED indicator is a steady green.

3. Connect your device to the 3.5 mm AUX IN jack (10) on the speaker’s back panel.

4. Start playback on the device.

5. Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker to achieve the desired
volume level.
Note: The [ ►ll ], [ ►►l ] and [ l◄◄ ] controls on the speaker will not work as long
as your device is connected to the AUX IN jack. Playback must be controlled from
the connected device.

Care and maintenance

Cleaning

Clean the Bluetooth speaker using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

Storage

• Unplug the adaptor from the wall socket if the product is not be used for
an extended period. Store the Bluetooth speaker in a dry, dust-free area.

• Remove the remote’s batteries.

The Bluetooth speaker
will not switch on.

• Make sure that the adaptor and its leads are
undamaged and are securely connected to
the wall socket and the speaker.

• Check that the wall socket is live.

• Adjust the volume both on the device and speaker.

• Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is

functioning properly.

• Test the playback from your external device before
connecting it.

• Try playback using another file or format e.g. MP3.
The file you are attempting to play may be incompatible
or corrupted.

• Make sure that no other Bluetooth device is already
connected.

• Make sure that the Bluetooth device is within range of
the speaker (max 10 m).

• Make sure that the 3.5 mm audio cable is undamaged
and securely connected to the device and the speaker.

• Check the volume on the connected device and
the speaker.

• Test the playback from your external device before
connecting it.

• Try playback using another file or format e.g. MP3.
The file you are attempting to play may be incompatible
or damaged.

The remote control
doesn’t work

• The remote’s batteries may be flat. Change batteries
if necessary.

• Point the remote control directly at the Bluetooth speaker
making sure that you are within range (max 3 m).

• If either the Bluetooth speaker or remote control is
exposed to strong sunlight the signals between them
may be blocked.

The Bluetooth speaker
freezes or does not
operate correctly.

• Try disconnecting the speaker from the mains completely
by unplugging it from the wall socket. Then reconnect the
plug back into the wall socket.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

• Bluetooth-högtalaren får endast anslutas till ett vägguttag med 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz.

• Standbyomkopplaren på fjärrkontrollen skiljer inte högtalaren från elnätet.

• Bryt strömmen till Bluetooth-högtalaren genom att dra stickproppen ur vägguttaget.

Stickproppen måste vara lättåtkomlig.

• Misshandla inte batterieliminatorns nätsladd. Bär aldrig batterieliminatorn i nätsladden.
Ryck inte i sladden utan dra i stickproppen när du bryter strömmen. Se till att
nätsladden inte kommer i kontakt med värme, vassa kanter eller kläms på något sätt.

• Dra ur nätkabeln ur vägguttaget om risk för åska föreligger.

• Bluetooth-högtalaren är endast avsedd för inomhusbruk.

• Försök inte ta isär Bluetooth-högtalaren, modifiera eller ändra den på något sätt.

Fjärrkontroll

• Fjärrkontrollen drivs av 2 x AAA/LR03-batterier.

• Dra batteriluckan på fjärrkontrollens baksida nedåt

och sätt i batterier.

• Se märkningen i botten på batterihållaren så att
polariteten blir rätt.

• Sätt tillbaka batteriluckan.

• Blanda inte nya och gamla batterier. Blanda inte

heller laddningsbara med ej laddningsbara batterier.

• Ta ur batterierna ur fjärrkontrollen om den inte ska
användas under en längre period.

att återgå till standbyläge. Tänk på att du måste
dra ut nätkabeln från vägguttaget för att helt skilja
Bluetooth-högtalaren från elnätet.
