Please read the entire instruction manual before use and save it for future reference.

1. Safety

• This product is intended for home use.

• Read and follow the user advice in these instructions. Bear in mind the restrictions
and risks that accompany this device. Read the cautionary texts and symbols on
this device.

• This product may not be used in the following circumstances:
– Confirmed or suspected heart defects.
– Some persons may experience skin irritation or hypersensitivity from electric

stimulation or from the use of gels.

– If a rash appears or pain persists, suspend treatment and consult a doctor.

• Placement of electrodes and settings should be based on advice from a doctor
or a person who is used to administering treatment involving similar devices.

• Local skin irritation may occur from prolonged use of electrodes in the same position.

• Make sure the electrodes have good contact with the skin.

• If the stimulation level is uncomfortable and too high for you the impulses must
be reduced to a more agreeable level. Suspend treatment and consult a doctor
if you are unsure.

• This product should not be used by persons regularly out in traffic or persons
who monitor machines and processes.

• Do not use this product on premises where aerosols or oxygen are stored or used.

• Do not use this product in the vicinity of explosive, highly flammable substances or gases.

• Do not use this product at the same time with other products that send electric
impulses into the body.

• Do not connect electrodes to any other device or connect any other device,
i.e., earphones and the like, to the TENS/EMS device.

• Do not use sharp objects to press buttons.

• Make sure that electrodes and cables are undamaged before using.

• The TENS/EMS device may only be used in conjunction with
the accompanying accessories.

• Treatment may not be applied above the neck, i.e., to the face, on the throat,
or anywhere on the head.

This product must not be used in the following circumstances

• Pregnant women should consult their doctors before using.

• This product should not be used if carcinogenic changes are found in the area treated.

• Treatment should not be applied to swollen, infected, inflamed or damaged skin.

• This product should not be used on persons who have a pacemaker or defibrillator.

• This product should not be used on persons who have diabetes, abnormally
high blood pressure, or on persons who have epilepsy.

• This product should not be used on persons who have serious circulation problems
in the body’s lower parts, or hernia in the groin or abdominal area.

• In cases of known myocardial inflammation.

• Do not use the device for symptoms that have not been diagnosed.

Caution! Do not use the device if you are unsure how it works. Consult with a doctor or
a person who is used to administering treatment involving similar devices if you feel unsure.

2. Inserting batteries

1. Open battery cover (on back) by applying pressure to it and at the same time
push cover in the direction of the arrow.

2. Insert 4x AAA/LR03-batteries into battery compartment as indicated by markings.

3. Attaching cables to electrodes

Insert cable contacts in electrode contacts. Squeeze the contacts together so that
no metal is visible at any connection.

4. Attaching electrode cables to the

TENS/EMS device

1. First make sure that the device is switched off.

2. Grasp an insulated part of the contact and connect it to one of the outlets (15) and (16)
on the topside.

1. CH1 lights up when channel 1 is activated.

9. [CH 2 –] – Switch off button lock. Lowers intensity for channel 2.
From 60 (max) to 0 (switched off).

10. [S] – Press and hold for approx 3 seconds to set user parameters.

11. [CH 2+] – Increases intensity for channel 2. From 0 (switched off) to 60 (max).

12. [▲] – Programme selection forward.

6. Buttons and functions

1. Switch for switching on the device and to start treatment.

2. Press to stop treatment.

3. Press and hold down button 3 seconds to switch off.

Select treatment programme forward. EMS (P01 – P20) – TENS (P01 – P20)
– U (own settings U01-U10) – MASSAGE (P01 – P10).

Select user 1 or user 2.

1. Reduce output intensity for channel 1.

2. Press to unlock button lock.

1. Start treatment.

2. Raise output intensity for channel 1 (or 2).

3. First press [CH1– ] or [CH 2– ] to open button lock (if it has been activated).

 Caution: Read the entire cautionary text before use!

7. Placing the electrodes on the skin

1. Make sure that is skin is completely dry and clean.

2. Press the electrodes tightly against the skin so that there is full contact
over the entire surface.

Caution!

• Wash, degrease, and dry skin before attaching self-adhering electrodes.

• Do not start the TENS/EMS device before electrodes are firmly in place on the skin.

• Never remove electrodes from the skin when the TENS/EMS device is switched on.

8. Switching on TENS/EMS device

Before you switch on the device we recommend that you read through the cautionary
texts, especially under what circumstances the device should not be used. The TENS/EMS
device is not a toy but a powerful auxiliary.

Switching on the device: Press and hold down

until the display lights up.

9. Selecting type of treatment

Normal position

1. Press to open normal position. The Display shows:

“TENS” – shows that TENS-treatment has been chosen.
“P01” – shows that programme 1 (of 20) has been installed.
“Clock” – the clock blinks during treatment.
“30” – shows the time of treatment selected.
“U2” – shows that the treatment applies to user 2.
“CH1 0” – shows that channel 1 is not activated (intensity 0). When the channel

is activated the indicator lamp CH1 in upper left corner lights up.

2. Use pre-installed programme:

Press [▼] or [▲] several times to select desired type of treatment. The different types

of treatment all have pre-installed programmes.

3. Activate the programme selected by pressing [CH1+] or [CH2+]. Press several times
to increase intensity (0–60).

1. Säkerhet

• Produkten är avsedd för hemmabruk.

– Vid konstaterat eller misstänkt hjärtfel.
– Vissa personer kan uppleva irritation i huden eller hyperkänslighet vid elektrisk

stimulering eller användning av gel.

– Vid utslag eller bestående smärta, avbryt behandlingen och konsultera en läkare.

• Placering av elektroder och inställningar ska baseras på råd från en läkare eller en
person som har vana från behandling med liknande produkter.

• Lokal irritation av huden kan förekomma vid långvarig användning om elektroderna
placeras på samma plats på kroppen.

• Se till att elektroderna har ordentlig kontakt med huden.

• Om stimulansnivåerna blir obehagligt höga måste impulserna minskas till
en behagligare nivå. Avbryt behandlingen och konsultera en läkare om du är osäker.

• Produkten får inte användas av personer som vistas ute i trafiken eller av personer
som övervakar maskiner eller processer.

• Använd inte produkten i lokaler där aerosoler eller syrgas förvaras eller används.

• Använd inte produkten nära explosiva, mycket brandfarliga ämnen eller gaser.

• Använd inte denna produkt samtidigt med andra produkter som sänder elektriska
impulser till kroppen.

• Anslut inte elektroderna till någon annan apparat och anslut inga andra produkter
t.ex. hörlurar eller liknande till TENS/EMS-apparaten.

• Använd inte vassa föremål för att trycka på knapparna.

• Kontrollera att elektroder och kablar är oskadade innan användning.

• TENS/EMS-apparaten får endast användas tillsammans med de bifogade tillbehören.

• Behandling får inte ges ovanför nacken, dvs. ej i ansiktet, på halsen eller någonstans
på huvudet.
