Wireless FM transmitter for iPhone

Product description

• Wireless FM transmitter for iPhone/iPod.

• Transmits music wirelessly to an FM radio.

• Can even charge your iPhone/iPod via the micro-USB port.

Buttons and functions

• Press V once: The frequency will decrease by 0.1 MHz for every press.

• Press Λ once: The frequency will increase by 0.1 MHz for every press.

• Press and hold in V: The frequency will decrease in steps of 1 MHz.

• Press and hold in Λ: The frequency will increase in steps of 1 MHz.

• Press V and Λ simultaneously: A vacant frequency will be tuned in automatically.

Manual tuning

1. Set the radio to a vacant frequency
that is not too close to one that is
already used.

2. Turn on your iPhone/iPod and
connect the FM transmitter which
will start automatically.

3. Use the touch controls on the FM
transmitter to tune into the same
frequency as the radio.

4. Set your iPhone/iPod to play mode.

5. Any music played on the iPhone/
iPod will now be transmitted
to the radio.

Automatic tuning

1. Press in both touch controls simultaneously
and the FM transmitter will scan for a vacant
radio station.

2. Set the radio to the frequency shown
on the display of the FM transmitter.

3. If there is any interference in the transmission,
repeat steps 1 and 2 until an interference-free
frequency is found.

Standby mode

If your iPhone/ iPod is switched off for more than a minute, the FMtransmitter will
switch to standby mode to save battery power.
As soon as one of the touch controls on your iPhone/iPod or
FMtransmitter is pressed, the transmitter will switch back on again.

N.B.

There might be a delay of a few seconds before the transmitter restarts.

Charging

Connect a USB cable (art. no: 38-4118
or 38-4119) to the USB port (5) and to
your iPhone/iPod charger. The USB port
enables you to charge your iPhone/iPod
whilst the FM transmitter is connected.

Care and maintenance

• Do not expose the product to moisture or immerse it in water or
any other liquid.

• Do not use chemicals or corrosive cleaning agents on the product.

• Do not expose the product to extremely high or low temperatures.

• Do not dispose of the product in fire, it will explode.

• Do not expose the product to impacts, sharp objects or rough handling.

• Do not try to dismantle the product.

• If the product is not to be used for a long time: store it in a dry and

dust-free environment at normal room temperature.

Troubleshooting guide

The FM trans­mitter will not
switch on.

Interference
in the form
of noise or
other music.

No music is
heard from
the radio.

• Make sure that the transmitter is properly connected
to your iPhone/iPod.

• Is your iPhone/iPod battery charged?

• Select a vacant frequency.

• Make sure that there are no other

electrical devices in the vicinity.

• Make sure that your iPhone/iPod is in play mode.

• Make sure that the transmitter is properly connected

to your iPhone/iPod.

• Make sure that the radio frequency is
the same as that of the transmitter.

• Adjust the volume of your radio.

Manuell inställning av frekvens

1. Ställ in radioapparaten på en ledig
frekvens som inte ligger för nära
någon som används.

2. Starta din iPhone/iPod och anslut
FM-sändaren som då
startar automatiskt.

3. Använd touchkontrollerna
på FM-sändaren för att
ställa in samma frekvens
som på radion.

4. Sätt din iPhone/iPod i playläge.

5. Den musik som nu spelas på din iPhone/iPod sänds till radion.

Automatisk inställning av frekvens

1. Tryck in båda touchkontrollerna samtidigt
och FM-sändaren söker automatiskt upp
en ledig radiostation.

2. Ställ in radioapparaten på den frekvens
som FM-sändarens display visar.

3. Om det uppstår störningar iöver föringen
upprepa steg 1 och 2 tills
en störningsfri frekvens hittas.

Viloläge

Om din iPhone/iPod är avstängd i mer än en minut går FM-sändaren ner i viloläge
för att spara batteri.
När någon touchkontroll på din iPhone/iPod eller på FM-sändaren trycks in startar
sändaren igen.

OBS! Det kan ta några sekunder innan FM-sändaren startar.

Laddning

Anslut en USB-kabel (vårt art.nr 38-4118
el. 38-4119) till ingången (5) och den
andra änden av kabeln till den typ av
laddare som används för din iPhone/iPod.
USB-ingången gör det möjligt att ha FM­sändaren monterad och ändå ladda din
iPod/iPhone.

Skötsel och underhåll

• Utsätt inte produkten för fukt eller sänk ner den i vatten
eller någon annan form av vätska.

• Använd inte kemikalier eller någon form av frätande rengöringsmedel
på produkten.

• Utsätt inte produkten för extremt höga eller låga temperaturer.

• Kasta inte produkten i öppen eld, den kommer att explodera.

• Utsätt inte produkten för stötar, vassa föremål eller annan åverkan.

• Försök inte ta isär produkten.

• Om produkten inte ska användas under en längre period,

förvara den torrt och dammfritt i rumstemperatur.

• Finns det ström i batteriet på din iPhone/iPod?

• Ställ in en ledig frekvens.

• Se till att inga andra störande elektroniska enheter

finns i närheten.

• Se till att din iPhone/iPod står i playläge.

• Se till att sändaren är ordentligt ansluten

till din iPhone/iPod.

• Se till att radions frekvens överensstämmer
med den som står i sändarens display.

• Justera volymen på radion.
