1. Safety
Warning!
• Never leave the compressor unattended when it is in operation.
• This compressor is only intended for intermittent use. If the compressor is used for long
periods it might overheat. If the metal components become very hot the compressor should
be turned off and allowed to cool for about 30 minutes.
• Never pump too high a pressure into the recipient product. Tyres are marked with their
maximum pressure in psi or bar.

3. Operation
Pumping tyres
1. Attach the compressor to your car’s cigarette lighter socket. Remember that in certain types
of cars the ignition must be turned on for the socket to work.
2. Push the pump connector onto the tyre valve and screw it on.
3. Inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure (refer to the car’s handbook or marking on the
tyre itself). Unscrew the pump connector and unplug the compressor from the lighter socket.
4. The bicycle adapter should be used for inflating bicycle tyres.
Car tyres should normally be inflated to pressures ranging from 1.65 bar (24 psi) to 2.2 bar
(32psi). Tyres for large vehicles might need a pressure up to 2.75 bar (40 psi). Tyres are marked
with their maximum pressure in psi or bar.
• In order to prevent overheating, the compressor should not be used for longer than
• about 10 minutes without a break. If you need to pump more you should wait for 10 minutes
before you start the compressor again.
• For higher pressures (pressure over 5 bar), let the compressor rest after 7 minutes use.
• If the compressor still overheats, shut it off and let it cool for 30 minutes before you start it again.

1. Choose a suitable adapter nozzle or pump needle and insert it into the valve of the object
which you want to inflate.
2. Plug the compressor into the cigarette lighter socket to start the pump.
3. Unplug the lighter plug when the desired pressure has been reached.
NOTE! Toys and air mattresses can burst if you over-inflate them! Keep an eye on the pressure
all the time. Never pump to a higher pressure than the one which is recommended.
