Safety

• Never operate theproduct for longer than 15 seconds at
atime. Wait 15 seconds between each press operation.

• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.

• Theproduct should always be disconnected from themains
when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/disassembled
and when it is to be cleaned.

• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and understand
thehazards involved.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Ensure that
theproduct and its mains lead are kept out of reach of
children under theage of 8.

• Wash thejug, cone, strainers and lid with warm soapy water.

• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains before
changing any accessories or handling any of themoving parts.

• Theproduct may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge
which could jeopardise their safety, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning thesafe use of
theproduct and understand thehazards involved.

• Never let children play with theproduct.

• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage.
Refer to therating plate on theproduct.

• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead
should be kept dry.

• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that theproduct

Operating instructions

Note: Read theCare and maintenance section before using theproduct for thefirst time.
Note: Never operate theproduct for longer than 15 seconds at atime. Wait 15 seconds between

each press operation. Theproduct should be allowed to rest for 30 minutes after every 10 15-second
operations. Switch theproduct off and let themotor cool down for aminute before using it again.

1. Place thejug (6) onto themotor unit (8) so that thearrows ▼ and ▲
on thejug and motor unit line up with each other.

2. Mount strainer A (3) onto strainer B (5).

3. Press the cone (2) onto the assembled strainers to mount it.

4. Mount the entire assembly over the spindle (7) and jug (6).

5. Plug thecitrus press juicer into awall socket.

6. Cut thefruit into 2 halves.

7. Press each half of thefruit onto thecone to squeeze out thejuice.

8. Control theamount of pulp you want in your juice using thepulp control (4).

9. When you have finished juicing, remove parts 2, 3 and 5 and disassemble them.
Wash thecitrus press juicer straight after use.

Note: Themotor will stop if thefruit is pressed against thecone with too much force; avoid pressing
down too hard. If themotor encounters heavy resistance it will change its direction of rotation.

Care and maintenance

• Unplug themains lead before cleaning theproduct.

• Use adamp cloth to clean theexterior of themotor unit. Wash theother parts in warm water with
washing-up liquid. Use amild detergent. Never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents.

• Do not wash any of theparts in adishwasher.

• Never immerse themotor unit in water.
