Operating Instructions
Ensure the work area is clean and tidy, the vehicle is safe and secure, i.e. the wheels arechocked etc.
Refer to the vehicle manufacturers instructions before starting work, then proceed as follows.
1.Connect the extractor to a suitable air compressor, the compressor must becapable of delivering between 70PSI and 170PSI,DO NOT switch compressor on atthis stage. .under normal conditions 90PSI should drawbrake fluid up to a heightof 1 metre into the tank.
It may be necessary to experiment, by increasing or decreasing the air pressure forparticular applications.
2.Connect the nipple adapter to the first brake nipple to be bled by pushing itfirmly onto the nipple.
3.Fill the refill bottle, with brake fluidspecified by the vehiclemanufacturers handbook,(maximum 1,000cc), screwthe capassy back on and tighten by hand.ensure the tap is closed, (see Fig. 2).
NOTE: the tap can be turned through 360º
4.Remove the cap from the brakemaster cylinder reservoir and storesafely.
5.Invert the bottle containing the brakefluid and insert the fluid outlet tubeinto the neck of the reservoir. Gentlyclamp the assy to the neck of thereservoir, do not overtighten as theneck can be distorted. (see Fig. 2).

9.When finished bleeding, gently tighten the bleed nipple,DO NOT overtighten. release the trigger and switch off, thecompressor,
Either clamp or squeeze the silicon tube when removingthe adapter from the bleed nipple to prevent the brakefluid running out onto the floor, hold the adapter in the airrelease the clamp and allowthe fluid to run into the tank.
10.Repeat the above process on all the other brakes until allair is removed from the system. (Regularly check the fluidlevel in the refill bottle and top up as necessary).
11.When finished remove the adapter and drain the fluid into the tank.
12.Close the tap on the refill bottle, loosen the clamp and remove from the reservoir.
13.Check the reservoir level and top up if necessary with newbrake fluid, DO NOTuse fluid collected in the tank, refit the reservoir cap removed earlier.
14.Dispose of, if necessary the brake fluid in the tankaccording to local authority regulations.
15.Strip and carefully clean all tools and accessoriesetc. Toremove or replace the silicon hose, pushdown the coupler, (see Fig. 5). Torefit, push hosecoupling into the coupler, the coupler willautomatically lock the coupling in.
