How satellite radio works

Hundreds of streams of radio content bounce off the network of satellites that encircle the earth.

The antenna receives SIRIUS signals anywhere in the continental United States provided no obvious satellite signal obstructions are in the way.
Obstructions include: nearby buildings, high terrain, parking garages and tunnels.
The shuttle decodes the information and sends it to your radio or other audio system.
