Note: Certain features described in this manual may require additional parts and/or labor. Also, some features of the Ungo
RS300 convenience system have selectable options that must be activated or programmed during the system’s
installation. These items will be identified in the following sections. Your Authorized Ungo Dealer will be happy to
optional feature such as, electric trunk release, power windows, etc.
To operate the Auxiliary Function, press Button 3.
• This function will operate regardless of whether the system is locked, unlocked, or in Valet

Dome Light Control
For increased safety and convenience this optional feature will automatically turn on the dome light
for 20 seconds when the system is Unlocked using the Remote Transmitter.

For added convenience and safety, this feature automatically locks your vehicle’s doors 10 seconds

start your vehicle by remote control, without your key in the ignition. If your vehicle is powered by
a diesel engine, the RS300 will turn on the ignition for several seconds prior to starting the engine,

Valet Mode
Allows you to temporarily disable the remote starting feature when the vehicle is being serviced or
turned over to a parking attendant.
To turn Valet Mode on or off:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. While pressing the Override Switch, turn off the ignition.
• The horn will chirp once to indicate you have turned Valet Mode on.
• The horn will chirp twice to indicate you have turned Valet Mode off.
While in Valet Mode, the LED will light solid and the Remote Transmitters will continue to lock and
unlock your doors and operate the Auxiliary Function.
Stop and Go
The Stop and Go Feature allows you to remove the ignition key and exit the vehicle while keeping
the engine running during short stops.
To leave the vehicle running:
1. Park the vehicle and leave the ignition on.
2. Press Button 4 on the Remote Transmitter for 3 seconds.

• The parking lights will turn on.
• The doors will unlock*.
3. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
4. You may now exit the vehicle and lock the doors manually or using the Remote Transmitter.
To re-enter the vehicle and resume driver control:
1. Unlock the doors manually or by pressing Button 2 on the Remote Transmitter*.

3. Press the brake pedal to disengaged the RS300.

The Auto Cold Starting Feature automatically starts the vehicle every two hours and runs for the
preset Run Time.
To enter Cold Start Mode:
1. Press and continue to hold the Brake pedal.
2. Press and continue to hold the Valet switch.
3. Continue holding both the Brake pedal and Valet switch, then press Transmitter Button 2.
• The parking lights will flash 4 times.
4. The system will remain in Cold Start Mode until the vehicle is started using the transmitter

Battery Replacement
Your Ungo Remote Transmitter uses a 12 volt alkaline battery, which will need to be replaced from
time to time. Under normal conditions, the battery may last more than 6 months before it needs
replacement. When your Remote Transmitter’s battery is in need of replacement, you will notice a
decrease in your system’s operating range or a decrease in the brightness of the Transmitter’s LED
To change the battery, remove the 2 screws at the back of the Transmitter and carefully separate
the top and bottom halves of the Transmitter case. Insert the new battery, making sure that the

Adding or Deleting Remote Transmitters
The Ungo RS300 has the ability to recognize 4 individual Remote Transmitters. If the vehicle is
used by multiple drivers, each can have their own Remote Transmitter.
To add a Remote Transmitter:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Press and hold the Override switch.
• The status LED will turn on red.
• The horn will honk 3 times.
3. Have all desired transmitters ready and follow the steps below for each transmitter.
Press Transmitter Button 1.
• The parking lights will flash once.
Press Transmitter Button 1 again.
• The parking lights will flash twice to confirm that the new Remote Transmitter has been
added.
4. Repeat Step 3 for each Transmitter.
5. Wait 5 seconds then turn off the ignition.
