INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR

SURGE SUPPRESSORS

HD20 Thru HD150
A) Plug in (1) Surge Suppressor (TU14825) on the FAN CONTACTOR (TU13516).
B) Plug in one (1) each Surge Suppressor (TU14825) on EACH CONTACTOR of the REVERS-

ING CONTACTOR (EA-00685-0) as shown.
Note: Part # TU14825 has ‘guide pins’ on the connector terminals, and can only be plugged-in, the
correct way.

175# & 190# DRYERS
A) Connect one (1) Surge Suppressor (EA-00651-0) on the FAN CONTACTOR (TU14684), across

the COIL TERMINALS – A1 & A2. (Place bare wire of suppressor underneath screw terminals,
and tighten down).

B) Plug-in one (1) Surge Suppressor (TU14825) on EACH CONTACTOR of the REVERSING

CONTACTOR (EA-00685-0) as shown.

Note: Part # Tu14825 has ‘guide pins’ on the connector terminals, and can only be plugged-in, the
correct way. While Part # EA-00651-0 can be connected either way, electrically.
