Overview
Before you begin, you should have a powerline network already set up, with
your router connected to a Powerline Adapter. The following instructions
describe how to connect the Powerline Network Adapter (model number:
PLTE200) to a computer or other network device.

Installation
A. Connect one end of an Ethernet
network cable to the Ethernet
port of the Adapter.

B. Connect the other end to the
Ethernet port of your computer
or other network device.
C. Connect the power cord to the
Power port.
D. Plug the other end into an
electrical outlet.
NOTE: Because the Adapter sends data over the power lines
of your home, Linksys recommends that you plug the Adapter
directly into an electrical outlet. The Adapter has its own power
filter to help protect against surges.
E. The Power, Ethernet, and
Powerline LEDs light up.
NOTE: The Powerline
LED
indicates that
the connection between
the Adapter and your
powerline network has
been established.
Hardware installation is complete.
