Closing the Housing
Introduction
This document provides instructions for correctly closing the Compact Dual
Output EGC Amplifier A93270 and the Compact Single Output EGC Amplifier
A93280 housings.
Important: For complete information about Safety Instructions, Installation and
Operation of the Compact Dual Output EGC Amplifier A93270 or the Compact

Tightening the Housing Closure Bolts
To tighten the housing closure bolts, follow the steps below.
Important: Before you start, make sure you have a 5-mm Allen wrench.
CAUTION:
Avoid moisture damage and RF leakage! Follow the procedure exactly as
shown below to ensure a proper seal.
1.
Inspect the housing gasket and all mating surfaces. Wipe off any dirt and
debris.
2.
Close the housing and finger-tighten all closure bolts.
3.
Use the Allen wrench to tighten each closure bolt from 5 Nm to 6.5 Nm (3.7 ftlb to 4.8 ft-lb).
Important: Follow this numbered sequence to tighten the closure bolts.
