The Optra Magnum is the sedan car that promises and delivers great driving experience.

From the city to the suburbs, the Optra Magnum shows its swiftness, power and stamina

and it will effortlessly take you and your companions anywhere you wish in style and

comfort.

The power to turn heads

The Optra Magnum drivability and road handling ability have been successfully coupled to its new

sleek and aerodynamic design. The almond-shaped front lamps shine bright, even when not

activated. The trendy new alloy

further complemented by a specially designed honey comb grille sporting the famous Chevrolet

Inside, easy to read, simply crafted dials grace the two-tone dashboard of the Optra Magnum.

Circled in a brushed aluminum look, a design cue that is repeated throughout the interior of

this car. It throws into relief the metallic inserts that enhances the doors and instrument

panel. And when these features fade in the night, a cool green glow highlights and outlines

the car’s features.

Add an all new radio system, 360 degree air vents for surround cooling , it is easy to sit back

and enjoy the ambience of the Optra Magnum.

Explore a new dimension of
roominess and convenience

The Optra Magnum is very accommodating. It can comfortably take 5 adults

(and 405 litres of their luggage) on a long trip. Alternatively the rear seats may

be folded down to create a storage area of up to 1,225 litres. And pretty much

about anything in between as the seat can be split 60/40.

So if it’s a quick round of golf or picking up a complete new flat-packed kitchen,

from generous map pockets to a compartment in the glove box that cools your

drink, a definite delightful addition to your overall motoring experience.

ISOFIX child-seat mounts are standard. An interesting fact if you
have a family.

The pre-tensioner activates in an incident to help keep the occupants
tight against the seat.

Experience excellent road holding

The Optra Magnum features a steady and proven 1.6 litre, 16-valve DOHC inline 4-cylinder

engine that delivers 109 hp at 5,600 rpm. It is available with a five-speed manual or four-

speed automatic transmission.

The refinements to the Optra Magnum are very pleasing. Both the stiffness and noise

dampening have vastly improved to give an overall increase in road handling and

maneuverability even at higher speeds. Suspension technologies incorporating up-to-date

Chevrolet developments are seen on the Optra Magnum, making the driving experience

of the Optra Magnum a very comfortable and pleasurable one.

A rigid safety cage made out of high tensile steel
protects the passengers and limits the shock of impact.
