This manual has been written for the certied eld technicians repairing the Montane table line. The information contained in this manual is intended
for use by trained and certied DJO, LLC technicians. The Service manual contains safety precautions, nomenclature, specications, troubleshooting,
removal and replacement instructions, general maintenence, parts lists, schematics, warranty and other information which would assist a certied
service technician to repair the unit. Read, understand and follow all safety precautions and information contained in this manual.
The specications put forth in this manual were in eect at the time of the publication. However, owing to DJO, LLC's policy of continuous
improvement, changes to these specications may be made at any time without obligation on the part of DJO, LLC.
DJO, LLC requires that all eld technicians stay informed and trained on all changes pertaining to the Montane table line.

CAUTION
Do not lower the table with its front section folded down!
Lowering the table to the lowest possible position while its
head section is deflected or in the down position may cause
a collision between the head section and the lower frame
elements.
This can result in blocking the height adjustment mechanism.
Permanent and irreversible damage to the structure of the table
may occur!
The manufacturer shall not assume liability for damages resulting from improper (not compliant with conditions provided in this Operation
Manual) use of the Montane Table Line.

The frame of the table is made of welded steel sections coated with powder paint. It includes the following components:

from the equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Montane Table Line
A. GENERAL:
1. Information in this section, with respect to electronic components, is
intended to help with troubleshooting various components of the table.
2. Procedures are provided to determine whether electrical compenents
need to be replaced.
3. Once it has been determined that a particular part requires
replacement, use only parts obtained from DJO Global LLC.
B. GENERAL - REPLACEMENT COMPONENETS
1. Critical component replacement parts for Montane tables are available
as subassemplies only. Individual componenets of these subassemblies
will not be made available by DJO, LLC.
C. GENERAL - TESTS AND REPAIR PROCEDURES
1. Certain tests and repair procedures may require use of special tools
and/or xtures. These will be listed at the particular test where theya re
required. Testing with any other special tool or xture other than those
stated could give erroneous readings or test results. Always perform the
tests exactly as stated to ensure accurate results.
2. Test equipment settings will be listed for each test performed prior
to the respective test. This will ensure the test is performed to DJO, LLC
standards and enable proper readings.
D. MONTANE TABLE LINE VISUAL INSPECTION
Lift a retractable Caster Pedal up with the toe of your shoe and verify the
casters lock and the table cannot be easily moved. Press teh retractable
Caster Pedal down and move teh table. Very that teh table moves easily
and freely. Lift the Retractable Caster Pedal to lock the Casters for the
inspection and pplug the table into main power.
NOTE: The visual inspection covers the Montane table line with and
without postural drain. when performing the visual inspection, disregard
information that does not apply to the table purchased facility.
Inspect all of the cushions on the table Make sure the cushions are
securely fastened to the frame and are without rips and tears.
On the back section of the table, press the back section elevation lever
and the back cushion together. While continuing to hold the lever
and cushion, together move the the lever and cushion up and down,
ensuring they move freely and smoothly. Release the back section
elevation lever when the cushion is raised to lock into place.
Pull down on each side of the back cushion to verify the gas springs are
rmly supporting the back section. With the cushion in a raised position,
inspect the upper and lower connections of the gas springs. Ensure the
gas springs are not loose and the plastic covers are present and secure
over the top connections of the gas springs.

MONTANE TABLE LINE TROUBLESHOOTING
Inspect the gas spring at the head of the table. Check the function of the
gas spring by lifting the head section release handle. While holding the
lever, move the head section up and down to ensure it moves smoothly
and freely. Release the lever with the head section in the raised position
and press down on the head section to ensure that the gas spring holds
rmly.
The 7 section table head section is surrounded by the arm rest section.
From the underside of the table, loosen the arm section to lower the arm
rest section. Raise the arm rest section and confirm that it locks back into
place.
Working around the table, press the elevation bar. Verify that the table
moves up and down when the bar is pressed.
If the table has postural drain, place the head scetion of the table in a
level or neutral position. The postural drain switches are on both sides of
the chest cushion. Press the postural drain switches to the right and left
to verify the postural drain moves and up and down smoothly when the
postural drain switch is pressed.
On the 7 section table, raise the shoulder wing to lock into place. Using
one hand, pull the shoulder wing knob to release andlower to the side.
Unplug the table from mains power and check the connections on the
control box.
We recommend to clean and/or disinfect the upholstered surfaces
and other parts of the tables after each use to ensure proper
hygiene level.
1. Clean and maintain the upholstery surfaces in the
following way:
– clean regularly with warm water and mild detergent (e.g. soap)
solution using a soft cloth (do not use abrasive cleansers).
– rub the more heavily-stained areas with a soft, damp brush
– after cleaning, wipe dry with a soft cloth
– in case the surface has been stained with ball point pen, lipstick,
printing ink, etc., remove the stain immediately by rubbing it
with a soft cloth
2. Avoid extensive wetting of the surface of the table
3. Disinfect the upholstery and other surfaces using a mild antibacterial detergent

4. Never use:
– cleaning paste, wax, sprays
– strong detergents, solvents and cleaning agents containing
solvents, cleaning preparations for natural leather.
Use of such preparations may cause stiffening and breakages of the
cover material as well as adverse change of the glossy finish of the
upholstery surface which is not covered by the warranty!
5. Sterilization with the use of the UV rays does not affect the
surface of the upholstery.
CAUTION
Before cleaning the table, make sure that the electrical power supply
cable has been disconnected from the power supply in the room.

MAINTENANCE
Montane Table Line
LUBRICATING POINTS
1. Clean the metal parts with a soft, damp sponge. Wipe the parts dry immediately after cleaning.
2. All movable joints must be lubricated every six months or when experiencing squeaks or other noise. We recommend using any available
aftermarket lubricants. Protect the upholstered parts from contact with the lubricants and remove any excess amounts or leaks of these with a
dry cloth.
3. Check the threaded joints periodically every six months and remove loose connections with a Phillips screwdriver, hex keys (no 4, 5 and 6) and flat
spanners (10 and 27 mm). Report all loose connections that cannot be removed to the manufacturer's authorized service and stop using the table
until the cause of the problem is resolved.
CHECKING THE GAS SPRINGS STRUTS
Montane tables are equipped with gas springs for easy adjustment of the front section inclination angle. To ensure proper performance of
the gas springs, check the springs visually for leaks every 3 months. Any perceived performance deficiency or leak must be reported to DJO
for technical service immediately.
PERIODIC CHECK OF ELECTRICAL SAFETY
An electrical safety check should be performed in accordance with local or country requirements.
SERVICE
Should the Montane Tables require service, warranty or repair, please
contact the selling dealer or your local DJO Customer Service.

WARRANTY
DJO, LLC (“Company”), warrants that the Montane Tables (“Products”) are free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty shall remain in effect
for two years (24 months) for the cushions and three years (36 months) for the base frame and motor from the date of original consumer purchase. If
this Product fails to function during the warranty period due to a defect in material or workmanship, at the Company's option, the Company or selling
dealer will repair or replace this Product without charge within a period of thirty days from the date on which the Product is returned to the Company
or the dealer.
All repairs to the Product must be performed by a service center certified by the Company. Any modifications or repairs performed by unauthorized
centers or groups will void this warranty.
