1) Select correct size of walker for the patient. The end of the patient’s toes should be within 1 in (2.5 cm) from, without extending past, the front end of the walker. Loosen straps and remove liner from boot.
2) Place foot in liner and secure with contact closure. Make sure the heel fits snugly into the posterior portion of the liner. Secure the liner firmly around the foot, ank le, and lower leg.
3) Lift the end of the boot inner sole and position one end of the toe wrap on the contact closure strip.
4) Step into boot with heel seated firmly to the back of the shell. Fold the toe wrap over toes and secure on liner.
5) Position the front shell so the distal edges (toe region) fit inside the rear shell and the proximal edges (shin region) fit outside the rear shell. Fasten the front shell to the back shell by securing the straps, starting with the instep strap first, followed by all other straps. Top strap must be secured outside of shell.
6) To inflate walker liner press and release the air bulb several times until liner is providing comfortable cushion and support. DO NOT OVER INFLATE.
7) To release air from the walker liner, turn the inflation/deflation knob several times counter-clockwise. When re-inflating, turn knob clockwise until snug. Release air if liner feels too tight.
• Accessory pads may be used where necessary to aid in patient comfort
