1. Introduction
VistaPix is a 8 x 30 binocular integrated with a digital camera that is great for sporting events, concerts and wildlife activities such as hunting or bird-watching. VistaPix lets you record memories and sights at the touch of a button. Use the full-featured binocular for closer views and capture images to take home with you at the same time.
VistaPix makes it possible to share your fun with others by downloading images from the camera right to your computer to e-mail to your friends and family.

Un-installing the Software
To un-install the software, simply insert the CD and re-install the program. The screen
will ask if you would like to remove the program and all of its components.

Looking at or near the Sun may cause instant and irreversible damage to your eye. Eye damage is often painless, so there is no warning to the observer that damage has occurred until it is too late. Do not point the binocular at or near the Sun. Children should always have adult supervision while observing.

2.Notice to User
2-1.When no action is performed on this product, the VistaPix will
automatically turn off after 90 seconds.
2-2. The VistaPix has a battery level display in the right lower corner
of the LCD. When the battery is low you will hear a long "beep".
If no action is taken,VistaPix will automatically turn-off after 10 seconds.
2-3. Please use alkaline batteries for this product.

in your computer, you should not need to install the VistaPix driver.

To adjustment the eye-relief for eyeglass wearers: Fold down the rubber eyecups and place them against your glasses to get the best viewing result.
Focusing the Binocular
B. Choose an object that is at least 15 meters (49.21 ft) away. C. Looking with just your left eye, rotate the Center Focus Knob
until the object you are viewing is in best focus.
D. Looking with just your right eye, rotate the Diopter Knob
until the object you are viewing is in best focus.
E. Viewing your object with both eyes, turn the Center Focus Knob
to bring it in best focus.
5. How to use the binocular
Adjusting the eyepieces
The distance between your eyes is called interpupillary distance. The interpupillary distance is different from one person to another. It is important to adjust your interpupillary distance before using the VistaPix:
- Hold VistaPix firmly in the normal viewing position.
- Adjust the barrels by pushing together or pulling apart until you see a single circle field with both of your eyes.

Care of your VistaPix
8 -1.Never immerse VistaPix into any fluid or liquid.
Remove dust or stains with a soft cloth dampened with water or neutral detergent. Keep in a dry and cool dust-free environment or a container when it is not used.
8 -2.Take the batteries out when VistaPix is not to be
used over a long period. 8 -3. Avoid dropping the VistaPix. Do not disassemble VistaPix. 8 -4.Before removing the batteries, download pictures to your PC.

6.Using the Camera
Use this product under good lighting conditions but avoid facing light sources directly. Remember to keep a distance of at least 15 meters (49.21 ft) away from the target object when taking images.
Photographic functions
6-1-1. Turn on Power by pressing the Mode/Power Button (4) for 3 seconds.
6-1-2. Press the Mode/Power Button (4) to select the resolution mode ("hi" or"lo").
6-1-3. Select a target to view with the binocular, and aim at the target.
6-1-4. Press the Shutter/Set Button (5) to take an image. A short beep will
sound indicating the picture has been taken.
6-1-5. The digital counter on the LCD will advance each time an image is taken.
When the camera's memory is full, the screen will display Full .
6-1-6. To erase the last image taken, use the Mode/Power Button (4)to select

7. System requirements
Installation of driver
Since VistaPix is a Mass Storage Device you can access captured images
just as if it were a hard drive, therefore no software driver is needed (See
Mass Storage Mode ).
If using VistaPix with an older version of Windows 98SE it may be necessary to install the software driver.
Video(VGA) card with 2MB of RAM for minimum 16-bit
(High Color) display.

a PC through the USB port, Windows will add a "Removable Disk" hard drive under the "My Computer" icon. Simply access the removable disk to retrieve,view and save images to a permanent location.
When connected to a PC, the LCD screen will display the [PC] screen.

6-1-9. If at any time VistaPix can not access the SD memory card, the "FMT"
icon will flash. To correct this the SD card may need to be formatted. To format the SD card, select "SD card format mode" and press the Shutter/Set Button for 3 seconds. NOTE: This will erase all images
stored on the memory card.
6-1-10. VistaPix has a continuous picture taking (CPT) mode that allows you to record
a video stream as an AVI file. To use continuous picture taking mode:
-Use the Mode/Power Button (4) to select the CPT mode.
-Press the Shutter/Set Button (5) to begin taking video.
-Press the Shutter/Set button again to finish the operation.
