Your 60LCM/80LCM Refractor telescope includes: optical tube,
StarPointer finderscope, motorized base, tripod, accessory tray,
two eyepieces (9 mm & 25 mm), star diagonal, computerized hand
control, and instruction manual.

Your 114LCM Newtonian telescope includes: optical tube,
StarPointer finderscope, motorized base, tripod, accessory tray,
two eyepieces (9 mm & 25 mm), computerized hand control, and
instruction manual.

ENGLISH

Assemble tripod by spreading the legs out until the center leg
brace is fully extended.

Extend tripod legs 6 to 8 inches by lifting the tripod leg locking
lever and pulling the leg to desired length and snapping down
the lever.

Place the motorized base on top of the tripod making sure that the
three round feet rest on the round flat pads on the inside of the
tripod head.

To attach the accessory tray, line up notches and turn clockwise
until tray tabs lock into place with the tripod brackets.

Mounting

Screw

Thread the mounting screw into the hole at the bottom of the
motorized base. Tighten screw to secure the base to the tripod.

Properly assembled, the accessory tray should appear as
pictured above.

Clamp

Loosen the altitude lock and rotate the tube clamp so that the
telescope mounting knob is positioned on the top of the base. Then
tighten the altitude lock by hand, but don’t over tighten.

Refractor shown, the Newtonian mounts the same way.

NEWTONIANREFRACTOR

Select the low power (25 mm) eyepiece and insert it as shown
above. Tighten silver screw to secure.

Secure the tube to the base by tightening the telescope mounting
knob on the top of the base.

Insert the chrome barrel of the star diagonal into the focuser on
your Refractor and tighten the two silver screws to secure in place.

The Newtonian telescope does not use this diagonal, skip this step.

REFRACTOR NEWTONIAN

Loosen the two Philips-head screws on the side of the fi nderscope
and slide the clamp over the dovetail bracket. Secure the fi nderscope
in place by tightening the two Philips-head screws.

Remove the small plastic tab under the battery cover by pulling it
straight out. For longer battery life be sure to turn off fi nderscope
when not in use.

Attach the plastic hand control holder to the tripod leg and slide
the computerized hand control into the hand control holder.

Gently remove the battery holder from inside the battery compartment.

You are now ready to start using your LCM Refractor telescope.

Plug Computerized Hand Control into the “hand control” port on
the fork arm.

Place 8-AA batteries (user supplied) inside the battery holder. Return
the battery holder back inside the base and replace the cover.

You are now ready to start using your LCM Newtonian telescope.

Press the tab on the front of the battery compartment and remove
the cover.

Remove the lens cap from the front of the telescope before you
begin observing.

Assemblez le trépied en écartant les pieds jusqu'à ce que l’entretoise
centrale soit totalement étendue.

Étendez les pieds de 6 à 8 pouces en soulevant les leviers de
verrouillage, puis en les étendant à la longueur désirée. Abaissez
les leviers pour conserver le réglage.

Placez la base motorisée sur le dessus du trépied en vous assurant
que les trois pieds ronds reposent sur les tampons plats ronds à
l'intérieur de la tête de trépied.

Pour attacher le plateau pour accessoires, faites correspondre les
encoches puis faites-le pivoter dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre jusqu’à ce que les pattes soient verrouillées sur les supports
du trépied.

Insérez la vis dans le trou situé en dessous de la base motorisée.
Serrez la vis pour sécuriser la base sur le trépied.

La photo ci-dessus illustre le positionnement correct du plateau

Pince du

tube

Desserrez le bouton de verrouillage d'altitude d'un quart de tour et
faire tourner la pince du tube afin que la molette de monture soit
positionnée sur le dessus de la base. Resserrez le verrou d'altitude
à la main, mais ne pas trop serrer.

illustré. Réfracteur illustré, le modèle Newtonien s’installe de la

Sélectionnez l'oculaire basse puissance (25 mm) et insérez-le, tel
qu'illustré ci-dessus. Serrez la vis argentée pour fi xer.

Sécurisez le tube sur la base en serrant la molette de montage du
télescope sur le dessus de la base.

Insérez le barillet chromé de la diagonale en étoile dans le foyer
du réfracteur puis serrez les deux vis argentées pour le fixer.

Le télescope Newtonien d’utilise pas cette diagonale, ignorez
cette étape.

RÉFRACTEUR NEWTONIEN

Desserrez les deux vis cruciformes présente sur le côté du chercheur
Et faites glisser la pince sur le support de queue d’aronde. Fixer le
chercheur En serrant les deux vis cruciformes.

Retirez la petite languette de plastique entre la pile et le terminal
de la pile En tirant dessus. Pour préserver la durée de vie de la pile,
assurez-vous d'éteindre le chercheur lorsque vous ne l'utilisez pas.

Montieren Sie das Stativ, in dem Sie die Stativbeine spreizen, bis
die mittlere Beinstrebe ganz ausgestreckt ist.

Lösen Sie den Arretierhebel des Stativbeines und das Innenteil
jedes Beins ca. 15 bis 20 cm nach unten, bis zur gewünschten
Länge und lassen den Arretierhebel wieder einschnappen.

Setzen Sie die motorisierte Montageplattform auf das Stativ,
vergewissern Sie sich, dass die drei runden Füße auf den runden
flachen Pads auf der Innenseite des Stativkopfs aufliegen.

Um die Zubehörablage zu befestigen, achten Sie darauf, dass die
Kerben richtig sitzen und drehen sie im Uhrzeigersinn, bis die
Ablagesicherungen in die Stativhalterungen einrasten.

Fixierschraube

Setzen Sie die Befestigungsschraube in das Loch an der Unterseite
der motorisierten Plattform ein. Ziehen Sie die Schraube fest, um
die Montageplattform am Stativ zu befestigen.

Die Zubehörablage sollte wie oben gezeigt, ordnungsgemäß
montiert werden.

Tubusklemme

Lösen Sie die Höhenverriegelung und drehen Sie die Tubusklemme
so, dass der Teleskop-Befestigungsknopf auf der Oberseite

REFRAKTOR NEWTON

Sucherfernrohrs und schieben die Klemme über die Schwalben­schwanzhalterung. Sichern Sie das Sucherfernrohr, indem Sie
die beiden Kreuzschlitzschrauben anziehen.

Entfernen Sie die kleine Kunststofflasche unter dem Batterie­fachdeckel, indem Sie sie gerade herausziehen. Für eine längere
Batterielebensdauer sollten Sie das Sucherfernrohr ausschalten,
wenn es nicht verwendet wird.

Extienda las patas del trípode entre 6 y 8 pulgadas (aprox. 30 cm)

Estendere le gambe del treppiede da 15 cm a 20 cm (da 6 a 8
pollici) allentando la manopola di bloccaggio della gamba del
treppiede, tirando la gamba alla lunghezza desiderata e serrando
nuovamente la manopola.

Sistemare la base motorizzata in cima al treppiede assicurandosi
che i tre piedini rotondi poggino sui cuscinetti piatti rotondi
all'interno della testa del treppiede.

Per fissare il vano accessori allineare le tacche e ruotare in senso
orario fino a quando i dispositivi di bloccaggio del vassoio non
scatteranno in posizione con le staffe del treppiede.

Far scorrere la coda di rondine del tubo ottico nel braccio a
forcella come mostrato in fi gura. In fi gura un telescopio rifrattore,

il Newtoniano si monta nello stesso modo.

Selezionare l'oculare a bassa potenza (25 mm) e inserirlo come
mostrato sopra. Serrare la vite argentata per fi ssare.

Fissare il tubo alla base serrando la manopola di montaggio del
telescopio in cima alla base.

Inserire la canna cromata della diagonale stellare nel focheggiatore
del telescopio rifrattore e serrare le due viti argentate per fi ssarla
in posizione. Il telescopio Newtoniano non usa la diagonale, quindi

saltare questo passaggio.

RIFRATTORE NEWTONIANO

Allentare le due viti con testa a croce sul lato del cercatore e far
scorrere il morsetto sulla staffa a coda di rondine. Fissare il cercatore
in posizione serrando le due viti con testa a croce.

Rimuovere la piccola linguetta di plastica sotto il coperchio della
batteria tirandola verso l'esterno. Per una maggiore durata della
batteria, assicurarsi di spegnere il cercatore quando non in uso.
