Using the Rubber Eyecups

The zoom eyepiece includes a soft rubber eyecup for eyeglass wearers. Fold
down the rubber eyecups to observe the full field of view when wearing
eyeglasses.

Focusing

To focus slowly rotate the focuser knob until the image in the
eyepiece is clear and sharp. Refocusing is usually required if the
power is changed

Changing the Magnification

Rotate the magnification ring around the zoom eyepiece to change the
power level of the spotting scope. Refocus as needed.

Photography

To use your spotting scope as a telephoto lens, remove the rubber eyecup from the top of the eyepiece. Thread an
optional t-ring for your make and model of 35mm camera onto the T-threads located at the top of the eyepiece. Attach
your 35mm camera body to the t-ring. Celestron spotting scopes have fixed apertures and, as a result, fixed f/ratios. To
properly expose your subjects photographically, you need to set your shutter speed accordingly. Most 35mm SLR
cameras offer through-the-lens metering which lets you know if your picture is under or overexposed. Adjustments for
proper exposures are made by changing the shutter speed. Consult your camera manual for specific information on
metering and changing shutter speeds.

CELESTRON NO FAULT LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

A. Celestron warrants this spotting scope to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for its usable lifetime. Celestron will repair or

replace such product or part thereof which, upon inspection by Celestron, is found to be defective in materials or workmanship. As a condition to
the obligation of Celestron to repair or replace such product, the product must be returned to Celestron prepaid together with proof-of-purchase
satisfactory to Celestron. The Proper Return Authorization Number must be obtained from Celestron in advance of return. Call Celestron at
[phone] to receive the number to be displayed on the outside of your shipping container.

B. The NO FAULT provision of this warranty means that regardless of how the binocular may have been damaged or rendered unusable (fully or

partially) by the Owner of the spotting scope, Celestron will repair or replace the spotting scope without any questions being asked.

To take advantage of this provision, enclose a check or money order for $ 35.00 (U.S. dollars) with the binocular to cover inspection, handling,
and shipping.

All returns must be accompanied by a written statement setting forth the name, address, and daytime telephone number of the owner, together
with a brief description of any claimed defects. Parts or product for which replacement is made shall become the property of Celestron.

Celestron shall use reasonable efforts to repair or replace any spotting scope covered by this limited warranty within thirty days of receipt. In the
event repair or replacement shall require more than thirty days, Celestron shall notify the customer accordingly. Celestron reserves the right to
replace any product which has been discontinued from its product line with a new product of comparable value and function.

CELESTRON DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR USE, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN.

THE SOLE OBLIGATION OF CELESTRON UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE
COVERED PRODUCT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS SET FORTH HEREIN. CELESTRON EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY
LOST PROFITS, GENERAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY RESULT FROM BREACH OF
ANY WARRANTY, OR ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY CELESTRON PRODUCT. ANY WARRANTIES
WHICH ARE IMPLIED AND WHICH CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A TERM OF ONE YEAR
FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts,
so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Utilisation des oeilletons de viseur en caoutchouc

L’oculaire de visée du zoom comprend un appui en caoutchouc souple prévu pour le port
de lunettes de vue. Lorsque vous portez des lunettes, abaissez les œilletons de viseur en
caoutchouc en les pliant de manière bénéficier du champ de vision le plus large.

Mise au point

Pour une mise au point lente, faire pivoter le bouton du porte-oculaire jusqu’à ce que
l’image apparaissant dans l’oculaire de visée devienne claire et nette. Il est en général
nécessaire de remettre au point lorsque l’on modifie la puissance.

Modification du grossissement

Faire pivoter l’anneau de grossissement situé autour de l’oculaire de visée du zoom
pour modifier le niveau de puissance du télescope. Remettre au point le cas échéant.

Photographie

Pour utiliser la longue-vue en tant que téléobjectif, retirer l’œilleton de viseur en caoutchouc de la partie supérieure de
l’oculaire de visée. Fixer un anneau T-Ring adapté à la marque et au modèle de votre appareil photo 35 mm sur le filetage en
T situé sur la partie supérieure de l’oculaire de visée. Fixer le boîtier de l’appareil photo 35 mm à l’anneau
T-Ring. Les longue-vues Celestron comportent des ouvertures fixes et en conséquence, des rapports focaux fixes. Pour une
exposition correcte des sujets photographiés, il vous faut régler la vitesse de l’obturateur en conséquence. La plupart des
appareils photo SLR 35 mm possède le procédé TTL de mesure de la lumière à travers l’objectif qui permet de savoir si la
photo est sous-exposée ou encore surexposée. Les réglages relatifs à une bonne exposition s’effectuent par la modification de
la vitesse de l’obturateur. Consulter le guide de l’utilisateur de votre appareil photo pour des renseignements plus complets
relatifs au procédé TTL et aux modifications de la vitesse de l’obturateur.

Usando las Terminales Oculares de Caucho

El zoom del ocular incluye terminales de caucho suave, para aquellas personas que

Enfocando

Para enfocar, gire lentamente la perilla de enfoque hasta que la imagen en el
ocular sea clara y nítida. Si la potencia es cambiada, se requiere volver a
enfocar.

Cambiando el aumento

Gire el anillo de aumento alrededor del zoom del ocular para cambiar el nivel
de la potencia del telescopio de reflexión. Vuelva a enfocar, si es necesario.

Fotografía

Para utilizar el telescopio de reflexión como un lente de telefoto, remueva las terminales oculares de caucho de la tapa del ocular.

éste sea devuelto a Celestron, con franqueo prepago, juntamente con la documentación que demuestre su compra, a satisfacción de Celestron.

Verwendung der Gummiaugenstücke

Das Zoomokular wird mit einem weichen Gummiaugenstück für Brillenträger
geliefert. Die Gummiaugenstücke nach unten stülpen, um für Brillenträger ein
volles Sichtfeld zu gewährleisten.

Fokussieren

Um zu fokussieren, den Fokussierknopf langsam drehen, bis das Bild
im Okular klar und scharf ist. Bei Leistungsänderung ist meist eine
erneute Fokussierung erforderlich.

Vergrößerungsänderung

Den Vergrößerungsring am Zoomokular drehen, um die Leistung des
Spotting Scope zu ändern. Bei Bedarf neu fokussieren.

Fotographie

Um Ihr Spotting Scope als Telefotolinse einzusetzen, das Gummiaugenstück vom Okular entfernen. Einen optionalen T­Ring für das jeweilige 35 mm-Kameramodell und die jeweilige Marke auf die T-Gewinde oben am Okular aufschrauben.
Die 35 mm-Kamera am T-Ring befestigen. Celestron Spotting Scopes verfügen über feste Blendenöffnungen und daher
über feste F-Verhältnisse. Um Ihre Motive richtig zu belichten, müssen Sie die Verschlusszeit richtig einstellen. Die
meisten 35 mm-SLR-Kameras bieten Messung durch die Linse, womit Sie wissen, ob Ihr Bild unter- oder überbelichtet
ist. Die richtige Belichtung wird durch Änderung der Verschlusszeit eingestellt. In der Bedienungsanleitung Ihrer
Kamera finden Sie ausführliche Informationen über das Messen und Ändern von Verschlusszeiten.

A. Celestron gewährleistet für die nutzbare Lebensdauer des Spotting Scope, dass das Produkt frei von Material- und Fertigungsdefekten ist. Falls das Produkt

vonseiten Celestron festgestellte Material- oder Fertigungsfehler aufweist, wird Celestron das Fernglas bzw. die als mangelhaft befundene Fernglaskomponente
reparieren oder ersetzen. Eine Vorbedingung, damit Celestron der Verpflichtung zur Reparatur bzw. zum Ersatz des Fernglases nachgehen kann, ist, dass das
Produkt zusammen mit einem nach Ermessen Celestrons gültigen Kaufnachweis an Celestron im Voraus bezahlt zurückgesandt wird. Sie müssen vor der
Rücksendung des Produkts die richtige Rücksendegenehmigungsnummer von Celestron erhalten. Rufen Sie hierzu Celestron unter der Rufnummer +1 (310) 328­9560 an und bringen Sie die Rücksendegenehmigungsnummer auf der Außenseite der Versandverpackung an.

B. Die VERSCHULDENSUNABHÄNGIGKEIT-Bestimmung dieser Garantie besagt, dass Celestron das Spotting Scope reparieren oder ersetzen wird,

gleichgültig wie es vom Besitzer (ganz oder teilweise) beschädigt oder unbrauchbar gemacht wurde.

Wenn Sie diese Garantiebestimmung ausnutzen möchten, legen Sie bitte einen Scheck oder eine Geldanweisung in Höhe von 35,00 US-Dollar zur Deckung der

Prüfungs- und Versandkosten bei.

Allen Rücksendungen muss ein Schreiben beiliegen, das den Namen, die Anschrift und Telefonnummer des Besitzers aufführt sowie eine kurze Beschreibung des
Mangels enthält. Ersetzte Teile oder Produkte gehen in das Eigentum von Celestron über.

Celestron wendet angemessene Bemühungen auf, um alle im Rahmen dieser beschränkten Garantie eingesandten Spotting Scope innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach
Erhalt zu reparieren oder zu ersetzen. Sollte die Reparatur oder der Ersatz länger als 30 Tage dauern, wird Celestron den Kunden entsprechend benachrichtigen.
Celestron behält sich das Recht vor, ein abgekündigtes Produkt durch ein im Wert und in der Funktion vergleichbares Produkt zu ersetzen.

DATUM DES ERSTKAUFS BEGRENZT.
