Use of work tools, including buckets, which are outside of Caterpillar’s recommendations or specifications for weight, dimensions, flows, pressures, etc. may result in less-than-optimal performance, including but not limited to reductions in production, stability, reliability, and component durability. Improper use of a work tool resulting in sweeping, prying, twisting and/or catching of heavy loads will reduce the life of the boom and stick.
