Your watch may differ somewhat from the one shown in the illustration.
Day
Hour hand

To set the day

Pull the crown out to the first click.1. Set the day by rotating the crown.2.
Push the crown back in to the normal position.3. Avoid changing th e date setting w hile the current t ime is between 9 :00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.
Minute hand
First click (Setting Day)
Second click (Setting Time)
Crown (Normal position)

To set the time

When the second hand is at 1. 12 o’clock, pull out the crown to the second click to stop it. Set the hands b y rotating the 2. crown. Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise. Move the minute hand four or five minutes past the time you want to set, and then back it up to the proper setting. Push the crown back in to 3. the normal position to restart timekeeping.

Using the Stopwatch

The stopwatch lets you measure elapsed time up to 59 minutes, 59.95 seconds.

To measure elapsed time

Press 1. A to start the stopwatch.
Press 2. A to stop the stopwatch.
You can resume the measurement operation by pressing A again. The 1/20-second hand stops moving after the first 30 seconds, but timing continues internally. The 1/20-second hand will move to the current timing value when the stopwatch is stopped.
Check the elapsed time.3. The example below shows an elapsed time of two minutes, 24.15 seconds.

Press B to reset the stopwatch. This will enter the Timekeeping Mode.
Notes:
Do not try to perform stopwatch operations while the crown is pulled out either to the first or s econd click. If you try to press a button, you mig ht accidentally cause the crown to rotate and change the current time or day setting. If the starting positions of th e stopwatch seco nd hand and 1/20 second hand become misaligne d, use the follo wing procedures to a djust the positi ons of the hands so they point to 12 o’clock when the stopwatch is reset.

To adjust the positions of the stopwatch hands

Press 1. B to reset the stopwatch, and check the stopwatch second hand,
1/20 second hand, and minute hand. They all should be at 12 o’clock.
To adjust the hands, pull out the crown to the second click.2.
Press 3. A to move the stopwatch second hand to 12 o’clock.
Holding down A will move the second hand at high speed, unti l you release the button.
Press 4. B to move the stopwatch 1/20 second hand to 12 o’clock.
Holding down B will move the 1/20 second hand at high speed, until you
release the button. After making th e adjustments yo u want, push the crown back in to its normal 5. position. Press 6. B to reset the stopwatch minute hand.
Note that pulling the crown out also stops the timekeeping second hand. After performing the above procedure, you should also adjust the timekeeping setting.
For a watch with an elapsed time bezel Rotate the elapsed time bezel to align the minute hand. After certain am ount of time ela psed, read the gra duation on the elapsed time bezel which the minute hand points to. The elapsed time is indicated.
Some water resist ant models are equ ipped with a screw lock crown. With such model s, you must unsc rew the crown in the direction noted in the illustration to loosen it before you can pull it out. Do not pull too forcibly on such crowns. Also note that such watches are n ot water resistant while their crowns are loo sened. Be sure to screw the crowns back in as far as they will go after making any setting.
