CarriAir portable air cleaners provide maximum indoor air quality. Impurities
are drawn into the unit, and are routed through a special filtering system. Fresh air is
returned to the room through the top vent, minimizing secondary contamination
caused by units which blow air onto the floor. The unit runs so quietly, we added an
LED indicator to let you know it’s operating.

Before we clean the air, let us clear up the terminology.
CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate)
– The amount of clean air, measured in cubic feet per minute, that
an air cleaner delivers to a room. The CADR Smoke Value was chosen because it is the smallest particle
measured by AHAM’s testing program.
AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers) –
AHAM developed the CADR Rating Standard.
HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) – Filter technology that strains air of fine, airborne particles,
and virtually eliminates all particles as small as .3 microns.
Room Size – Carrier’s recommended room size for each unit and its tested CADR.
