Canon 2756B003, 2757B001, Rebel XSi Specifications

Canon Digital Trinity
The EOS RebelXSi’s CMOS sensor captures images with exceptionalclarity and tonal range and offers the most pixels in its class. ThisAPS-C size sensor (22.2 x 14.8mm) is complemented byCanon’s DIGIC III Image Processor, which enhancesimage quality and speeds up all the camera’soperations. The sensor and processor workin concert with Canon’s superlative EF and EF-Slenses, forming the ultimate Digital Trinity.
14-bit Tonal Conversion
The EOS RebelXSi features 14-bit analog to digital signal conversion, generating data with incredibly smooth tones. With this rich 14-bitgradation the EOS RebelXSi offers RAW images of the highest quality to complement 8-bit JPEGs.
Noise Reduction
The EOS RebelXSi’s sensor features narrow-gap microlenses and noise reduction circuitsto improve performance at high ISOs, and optimized photo diode configurations for improved performance at all ISOs. You’llnotice the results immediately.
Auto Lighting Optimization
The EOS RebelXSi’s Auto Optimization feature analyzes the photographic scene and compensates automatically, brightening dark faces, boosting contrast and brightening highlights in flat light, and adjusting exposure when flash output is insufficient.
3.5 fps Continuous Shooting
The EOS RebelXSi operates with such effortless speed that operation is nothing short of intuitive. With instantstartup times, speedy AF and imperceptible shutter lag, the EOSRebel XSi is one of the fastest camerasavailable today, shooting up to 3.5 frames per second, in bursts of 45 JPEGsor 6 RAW files.
Spot Metering
The EOS RebelXSi features a spot meter, which analyzes 4% of the composition, plus Centerweighted average metering and partial metering for accurate exposure no matter the situation.

Huge 3.0" LCD Monitor
The EOS RebelXSi has a giant, bright 3.0-inch TFT LCD monitor with 230,000 pixelsand a viewing angle of 170˚. It’s perfect for Live View Function composition or viewing camera settingslike AF, ISO, Metering, AF Point selection and flash options.
Live View Function
The EOS RebelXSi is the first EOS Rebel series to feature Canon’s Live View Function technology. With Live View Function, you never have to bring the camera to your eye: it’seasy to compose and shoot images right on the 3.0-inch LCD monitor.
Higher Magnification Viewfinder
The EOS RebelXSi also has an improved, high magnification viewfinder with a sensor to disable the LCD monitor when the camera isbrought to the eye. All relevant shooting information, including ISO, are displayed rightin the viewfinder.
SD & SDHC Memory Cards
The EOS RebelXSi uses popular SD and SDHC memory cards. Tiny, inexpensive and available in increasinglylarge capacities, these cards are a perfect complementto the EOS RebelXSi’s compact design.
Optical Image Stabilizer Lenses
Canon’s Optical Image Stabilizer technology makeshandheld photography
possible in more low-light situations by counteracting camera shake for crisp, clear images. With OpticalImage Stabilizer in the lens, Canon can equip each lenswith the stabilizer it needs for effective shake correction. Other systems are limited byhow far they can move an image sensor, and as a resulttheir stabilization is less effective as telephoto lengthsget longer. Also, stabilized images can be seen right in the viewfinder–impossible with some other stabilizer systems.
