Ample resolution of over 4K.

Uncompromising development has produced lenses with
superb optical performance that are smaller and lighter—
good news for those who expect cinema lenses to be
bulky. Exceeding the excellent resolution of prime models
at all zoom levels, these lenses minimize and correct
distortion. From the center of the screen to the periphery,
image rendering combines softness with high contrast.

As a practical solution in production, two models are
offered that cover the range of focal lengths most often

usedinlmmaking:14.5–300mm.Focus,zoom,and

iris markings are provided on angled surfaces of the lens
body, making them easier to read from behind
the camera.

Even camera operators who are used to production and

broadcastworkwithB4mountlenseswillndthese

lenses easy to use. Focus and zoom ridges, as well as a

ange-backadjustmentmechanismthatishiddenbya

cover, simplify manual control.

Designed to be even lighter and more compact than
other zoom lenses. Mobility is excellent, and a camera
can be held while the lens is attached. Many features also
enhance lens usability, making the lenses a good match

forapplicationsbeyondlmmaking.

With outstanding resolution, these lenses are ready for
4K cameras. From the center of the screen to the edges,
image rendering is exceptional, with minimal distortion.
Both wide-angle and telephoto zoom lenses maintain
ample image brightness (T-number: 2.8) that does not
change with zooming. The 11-blade aperture diaphragm
that is employed in the EF Cinema lenses achieve a
beautiful natural bokeh on out-of-focus highlights.

Together, the pair covers the widest focal length range in
its class, expanding camera operators’ creative repertoire
to include zooming in to distant subjects and cinematic
blurring with a shallower DOF.

Prime lenses consist of 6 models that cover a very
practical, broad focal length range of 14mm to 135mm.

These lenses have fast aperture that ensures ample
brightness. This enhances image quality with the
shallow DOF and broad bokeh of large sensors. Used
with high-sensitivity cameras, the prime lenses enable
shooting under natural light in dark scenes that would be
impossible with other equipment.

All prime lenses can be used with cameras equipped with
full-size 35 mm-equivalent (36×24 mm) image sensors.

Workingwiththesecameras,lmmakerscanenjoy

an even shallower DOF and broad cinematic blurring
(bokeh), for impressive shots.
