DESCRIPTION

The unit can be found in filtering hoods or in exhaust hoods. In the Filtering hoods (Fig. 1) the air and steam
taken up by the unit are purified with charcoal filters and returned to the environment through the aeration grids
on the side of the flue. WARNING: When using filtering hoods, both charcoal filters and an air deflector must
be used. Located in the upper part of the flue, this deflector recycles the air to the environment (Fig. 1A). The
charcoal filters are not supplied. In the Exhaust hoods (Fig .2) an exhaust duct conveys the steam and cooking
odors directly outside through the wall/ceiling. Therefore they do not require charcoal filters.

INSTALLATION

To facilitate installation, before starting remove the grease filter/s: press inward on the clamp at the handle and
pull the filter downward (Fig. 3/4).
Installation of a utensil holder (upon request): see Figure 5. Install the utensil holder with 4 flathead screws
(supplied). Secure the 2 supports (C) to the hood, one on the left and one on the right; insert the utensil holder
into these supports. Keep a good grip on it until you have installed, and secured, at least one of the 2 supports
(D) at the top of the hood.
Wall fitting : Draw a line on the wall in vertical line with your hob. Mark the 4 holes to be drilled in the wall,
respecting the distances indicated in Fig. 6. Drill the holes and fit the screw anchors provided. As already specified
on the “Warnings” sheet, bear in mind that the distance between the lower edge of the hood and the hob must
be min. 650 mm.
Insert the 2 upper screws (Fig. 7) and hook up the hood (Fig. 8). Then secure with the other 2 screws.
Installation with rear panel (Fig. 9): the rear panel is positioned at the top of the stove, flush against the wall.
Rest the lower edge of the panel behind the stove and anchor the upper edge to the wall using the two holes
found on the panel. Insert the screws and plugs provided (A). The unit is secured to the rear panel as though
it were being installed on the wall.
Securing the extension flues: basic installation requirements: – Set the electrical power supply within the space
covered by the decorative flues. – If your unit is installed in an Exhaust hood, prepare the air exhaust hole.
Adjust the width of the extension flue support bracket (W) using screws A indicated in Fig. 10. Then use the
plugs and screws provided to secure it to the ceiling. Make certain it is aligned with the hood. For filtering hoods,
the air exhaust grids are positioned in the upper part (Fig. 11). For exhaust hoods, turn the upper flue over so
that the air exhaust grid is in the lower section (Fig. 12).

Be very careful when handling the telescopic pipes, especially when resting these on the hood body, to prevent
scratching.

Exhaust hoods : connect the disposal duct to the air evacuation pipe of the hood. Use a flexible pipe and lock
it to the air evacuation pipe of the hood with a metal hose clamp (pipe and clamp are not provided).
Plug in the hood. Insert the telescopic flues setting them on the hood; extend the upper flue to the ceiling and
secure with the 2 screws (G) - Fig. 13.
Filtering hood: Take the air deflector and fit a flexible pipe to it (125 mm diameter) locking it with a metal hose
clamp (pipe and clamps are not provided). Fit the air deflector to the upper flue (Fig. 14) with 4 screws. Install
the reduction (provided) on the hood air outlet point (Fig. 15). Take the 2 assembled extension flues and set them
on the hood; extend the upper flue to the ceiling and secure with the 2 screws (G) - Fig. 13. Extend the lower
flue taping it in place and then connect the flexible pipe to the hood reduction. Plug in the hood. Extend the
lower flue downward setting it against the hood. Install the charcoal filters on the side of the motor inserting them
with a twisting movement (Fig.16).

OPERATION

Depending on the model, the unit is equipped with the following controls:

Controls shown in Fig. 17/18: Switch A: LIGHT; position 0: light off; position 1: light on. Switch B: MOTOR

SPEED: makes it possible to select the motor operating speed; position 0: motor off. C : Motor on light.

Controls shown in Fig. 19: Button A = light switch. Button B = first speed motor ON/OFF switch. Button

C = second speed switch. Button D = third speed switch. E = motor on light.

Pay special attention to the grease filters: the grease filters must be cleaned periodically: exactly how often

depends on use (at least once every other month). To remove the filter: push inward on the clamp at the handle
and pull the filter downward. Wash out the filter using a neutral soap.

Replacing the charcoal filters: for filtering hoods, the charcoal filters must be replaced; remove the filter

with a twisting movement (Fig. 16). The charcoal filters must be replaced according to use: on the average once
every 6 months.

Lighting: Depending on the model purchased, see Fig. 20, Fig. 21 or Fig. 22.

Fig.20: to remove the halogen lamps, turn the locknut counter-clockwise. Replace with the same type of lamp.
Fig. 21: to replace the incandescent light bulbs, remove the grease filters so as to be able to access the inside
of the unit; remove the screw securing the light fitting and then, working from inside the hood, push the light
fitting pin towards the inside of the unit. Replace with light bulbs of the same type.

Fig. 22: if your appliance has the same kind of lights as in the figure 21, to replace the incandescent light bulbs
open the grease filter and remove it; replace with light bulbs of the same type.

Das Gerät kann in Umluftversion und in Abluftversion geliefert werden. In der Umluftversion (Abb. 1) werden die
durch das Gerät geleitete Luft und der Dampf durch Kohlefilter gereinigt und dann über die seitlichen Lüftungsgitter
der Haube wieder in Zirkulation gebracht. ACHTUNG! Beim Einsatz der Umluftversion müssen die Kohlefilter
zusammen mit einem Umluftweiche eingesetzt werden, der in den oberen Rohrabschnitt montiert wird und die
Rezirkulation der Luft und Ableitung in die Umgebung ermöglicht (Abb. 1A). Die Kohlefilter werden nicht mitgeliefert.
In der Abluftversion (Abb.2) werden die Dämpfe und Küchengerüche direkt über eine Evakuationsöfffnung in der
Wand oder Decke nach außen abgezogen. Daher sind keine Kohlefilter notwendig.

INSTALLATION

Vor den Montageoperationen muß/müssen zur leichteren Handhabung des Geräts der/die Fettfilter entfernt werden:
Den Festhalter in der Nähe des Griffs nach innen drücken und den Filter nach unten ziehen (Abb. 3/4).
Montage des Kochlöffelhalters (auf Anfrage) - Abbildung 5. Zur Montage des Kochlöffelhalters werden 4 Schrauben
mit flachem Kopf (im Lieferumgang inbegriffen) verwendet. Befestigen Sie die 2 Träger (C) an der Haube, einen
rechts und den anderen links: Bringen Sie den Kochlöffelhalter dazwischen an und halten sie ihn, bis mindestens
einer der 2 Träger (D) montiert ist, die an der Vorderseite der Haube zu befestigen sind.
Befestigung an der Wand : Zeichnen Sie senkrecht über Ihrer Kochfläche eine Linie an die Wand. Markieren
Sie auf der Wand die 4 Löcher, die Sie bohren müssen, wobei die Maße in Abb. 6 einzuhalten sind. Dann die
Löcher bohren und die (mitgelieferten) Dübel hinein stecken. Wie bereits im Kapitel “Hinweise” beschrieben, ist
darauf zu achten, dass der Abstand zwischen dem unteren Rand der Haube und der Kochfläche mindestens 650
mm beträgt.
Die beiden oberen Schrauben eindrehen (Abb. 7), und die Haube anhängen (Abb. 8). Diese definitiv mit den weiteren
beiden Schrauben befestigen.
Befestigung mit der Rückwand (Abb. 9): Die Rückwand wird in Höhe der Kochfläche an der Wand angebracht.
Die Unterseite der Rückwand hinter die Kochfläche stellen und den oberen Rand über die beiden speziell auf der
Wand vorgesehenen Löcher mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübeln (A) befestigen. Die Befestigung des
Geräts an der Rückwand erfolgt genauso wie die Befestigung an der Wand.
Befestigung der Teleskoprohre : Wichtige Montagevoraussetzungen: – Die Stromversorgung im dekorativen Rohr
unterbringen. – Wird ein Gerät in Abluftversion installiert, ist eine Luftaustrittsöffnung vorzusehen.
Die Breite des Teleskoprohr-Tragbügels (W) über die in Abb. 10 abgebildeten Schrauben A regeln. Diesen dann
über die mitgelieferten Dübel und die Befestigungsschrauben an der Decke befestigen und darauf achten, daß es
sich in axialer Position zu Ihrer Haube befindet. Bei der Umluftversion dürfen die Luftaustrittsgitter nicht im oberen
Teil angebracht werden (Abb. 11). Bei der Abluftversion ist das obere Rohr umzudrehen, damit sich die Luftaustrittsgitter
unten befinden (Abb.12).

Besondere Vorsicht ist beim Umgang mit Telekoprohren, vor allem beim Auflegen derselben auf das
Abzugshaubengehäuse geboten, um dieses nicht zu verkratzen.

Abluftversion: Das Luftabführungsrohr an die Austrittsöffnung der Haube anschließen; dazu einen Schlauch
verwenden und ihn an der Luftaustrittsöffnung der Haube mit einer Metallschelle befestigen (Schlauch und Schelle
werden nicht mitgeliefert). Über das Versorgungskabel die Stromversorgung der Haube herstellen. Die Teleskoprohre
in die Haube einfügen; das obere Rohr bis zur Decke führen und mit 2 Schrauben (G) – befestigen (Abb. 13).
Umluftversion: Mit Hilfe einer Metallklemme einen Schlauch (von 125 mm Durchmesser) an der Umluftweiche
befestigen (Schlauch und Klemmen sind nicht mitgeliefert); die Umluftweiche mit vier Schrauben am oberen Rohr
befestigen (Abb. 14). Die Untersetzung (im Lieferumfang inbegriffen) am Luftaustrittspunkt auf die Haube montieren
(Abb. 15). Die 2 zusammengebauten Teleskoprohre nehmen und auf die Haube legen; das obere Rohr bis zur Decke
führen und mit den 2 Schrauben (G) befestigen - Abb. 13. Das untere Rohr anheben, mit Klebeband befestigen
und den Schlauch mit der Haubenuntersetzung verbinden. Die elektrische Verbindung der Haube über das
Versorgungskabel herstellen. Das untere Rohr senken und auf die Haube legen. Die Kohlefilter installierten und
sie mit einer Drehbewegung an den Motorseiten befestigen (Abb. 16).

FUNKTIONSWEISE

Je nach Version ist das Gerät mit folgenden Bedienung ausgestattet:

Bedienung gemäß Abb. 17/18: Schalter A : LICHT; Position 0: Licht an, Position 1: Licht aus.

Schalter B - MOTORGESCHWINDIGKEIT: Möglichkeit die Regulierung der Betriebsgeschwindigkeit des Motors.
Position 0: Motor im Stillstand. C : Motorfunktionsanzeige.

Bedienung gemäß Abb. 19: Schalter A: Beleuchtung. Schalter B: Ein- (erste Betriebstufe), Aus- Schalter.

Schalter C: zweite Betriebstufe. Schalter D: dritte Betriebstufe. Schalter E: Motorkontrolleuchte.

Mit besonderer Sorgfalt sind die Fettfilter zu behandeln: Der Fettfilter ist periodisch in Abhängigkeit vom

Gebrauch (mindestens jedoch alle zwei Monate) zu reinigen. Entfernung des Filters: Den Festhalter in der Nähe
des Griffs nach innen drücken und den Filter nach unten ziehen. Die Filter mit einem neutralen Reiniger waschen.

Ersatz der Kohlefilter : Wird das Gerät in Umluftversion eingesetzt, so müssen die Kohlefilter mit einer

Drehbewegung entfernt werden (Abb. 16). Müssen Sie die Kohlefilter in Abhängigkeit vom Gebrauch im Durchschnitt
alle 6 Monate ersetzen.

Beleuchtung: Gemäß dem von Ihnen erworbenen Modell ist Abb. 20, Abb. 21 oder Abb. 22 zu konsultieren.

Ersatzbirnen desselben Typs ein.

DESCRIPTION

L'appareil peut être en version recyclage ou en version aspirante. Dans la version Recyclage (Fig. 1), l’air et les
vapeurs convoyés par l’appareil sont épurés par les filtres à charbon et remis en circulation à travers les grilles
latérales d’aération du tuyau. ATTENTION: Pour la version Recyclage utiliser les filtres à charbon et un déflecteur
placé dans la partie haute du tuyau permettant la circulation de l’air dans le local (Fig. 1A). Les filtres à charbon
ne sont pas fournis. Dans la version Aspirante (Fig. 2), les vapeurs et les odeurs de la cuisine sont convoyées
directement à l’extérieur par un tuyau d’évacuation à travers la paroi/plafond. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire d’utiliser
les filtres à charbon.

INSTALLATION

Avant de procéder aux opérations de montage, pour manoeuvrer plus aisément l’appareil, démontez les filtres à
graisse: à l'aide de la poignée, pousser l’arrêt vers l’intérieur et tirer le filtre vers le bas (Fig. 3/4).
Montage du porte-louches (en option) : Voir la Figure 5. Pour le montage du porte-louches il faut utiliser 4 vis

à tête plate (fournies). Fixer les 2 supports (C) à la hotte, un sur le côté droit et l’autre sur le côté gauche,
puis placer le porte-louches dessus et continuer à le tenir tant que vous n’avez pas monté au moins l’un des
2 autres supports (D) que vous devrez fixer sur le côté avant de la hotte.
Fixation au mur : Tracez une ligne sur le mur, à la verticale de votre plan de cuisson. Tracez sur le mur les
4 trous que vous devrez percer, en respectant les mesures indiquées à la Fig. 6; percez les trous et y placez
les 4 chevilles (fournies en équipement). Comme indiqué sur la feuille “Attention”, ne pas oublier que la distance
entre le bord inférieur de la hotte et le plan de cuisson doit être au minimum de 650 mm.
Introduisez les 2 vis supérieures (Fig. 7) et accrochez la hotte (Fig. 8). Fixez-la définitivement à l’aise des 2 autres
vis.
Fixation avec panneau arrière (Fig. 9): Le panneau arrière sera placé contre le mur, dans la partie supérieure
de la table de cuisson. Appuyez le bord inférieur du panneau derrière la table de cuisson et ancrez le bord supérieur
au mur par les deux trous prévus dans le panneau, en y introduisant les vis et les chevilles fournis (A). La fixation
de l’appareil au panneau arrière a lieu de la façon que la fixation murale.
Fixation des tuyaux télescopiques: conditions essentielles pour le montage: – Prévoyez l’alimentation électrique
à l’intérieur du tuyau télescopique. – Si l'appareil doit être installé en version Aspirante, prévoyer le trou d’évacuation
de l’air. Réglez la largeur de l’étrier du support (W) du tuyau télescopique au moyen des vis A indiquées dans
la Fig.10. Puis fixez-le successivement au plafond, au moyen des chevilles et des vis qui vous sont fournies,
en faisant de sorte qu’il soit dans l’axe de votre hotte. Pour la version recyclage, les grilles d’évacuation de l’air
doivent être positionnées dans la partie haute (Fig. 11). Pour la version aspirante retournez le tuyau supérieur
de façon à ce que les grilles d'évacuation d'air soit dans la partie du bas (Fig. 12).

Faire particulièrement attention lors de la manoeuvre des tuyaux télescopiques, surtout au moment de les appuyer
sur le corps de la hotte, afin d’éviter de les rayer.

Version aspirante : raccordez le conduit pour l’évacuation de l’air à la bouche de sortie de l’air de la hotte; utilisez
un tuyau souple et bloquez-le sur la bouche de sortie de l’air de la hotte à l’aide d’un collier métallique (le tuyau
et le collier ne sont pas fournis). Effectuez le raccordement électrique de la hotte au moyen du câble d'alimentation.
Installer les tuyaux télescopiques en les appuyant sur la hotte ; soulever le tuyau supérieur jusqu’au plafond et
le fixer à l’aide des 2 vis (G) – Fig. 13.
Versione recyclage : prenez le déflecteur de l’air et fixez-y un tuyau souple (de 125 mm de diamètre) en le bloquant
à l’aide d’un collier métallique (le tuyau et le collier ne sont pas fournis); fixez le déflecteur de l’air au tuyau supérieur
(Fig.14) à l’aide de 4 vis. Monter la réduction (en équipement) sur la hotte en face du point de sortie de l’air
(Fig.15). Prendre les 2 tuyaux télescopiques assemblés et les poser sur la hotte ; soulever le tuyau supérieur
jusqu’au plafond et le fixer à l’aide des 2 vis (G) – Fig. 13. Soulever le tuyau inférieur, en le bloquant avec
un ruban adhésif et raccorder le tuyau souple à la réduction de la hotte. Effectuez le raccordement électrique
