4. SETUP AND INSTALLATION
1. Open battery compartment of the beltpack transmitter cover and insert 2 AA batteries (included) making sure to follow the polarity indicators. Close the battery cover.
2. Insert the included antenna into the beltpack transmitter.
3. Insert the AC plug of the power adapter into AC power outlet. When using AC power make sure to use the indicated voltage. If the equipment will not be used for a long period of time, unplug the power adapter from the wall.
4. Inset the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack in teh compartment on the rear of the PA Speaker.
5. When the beltpack transmitter power switch is turned on the indicator will light once. During operation when the indicator light dims it means that battery power is about to be exhausted. Replace the batteries with new AA batteries when this occurs.
6. If the beltpack or handheld trasmitters will not be used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries.
5. BASIC OPERATION
1. Extend antenna for better reception during operation.
2. The beltpack and handheld transmitters should be kept at least 6 feet from the PA Speaker and should not be placed directly facing the speaker to prevent feedback.
• To reduce feedback extend the distance between transmitter and receiver and change the direction the PA Speaker is facing. Turn down the tone as low as possible.
• To avoid interference do not use another transmitter and receiver with the identical frequency in the same area simultaneously. If a second PA is needed make sure to use one with a different frequency.
• The receiver will work only with a transmitter having the same frequency.
• If noise still comes out from the receiver after the transmitter is turned off this does not mean there is a malfunction but means there is one or more interfering sources with a similar frequency near the PA Speaker.
• Microphone amplication with the PA Speaker is possible even if the transmitter battery runs out of power. Simply connect a cable type microphone with a 3.5mm plug directly into the MIC IN jack on the rear of the PA-Pro.
3. Turn the transmitter and the PA Speaker on. Adjust the volume.
