WARNING! Before attaching or detaching the Foot Pedal to the grinder, make
sure the PLUG IS REMOVED FROM THE OUTLET/POWER SOURCE and the power
switch is in the OFF position. ALWAYS unplug the Foot Pedal and the grinder when

WARNING!
1. DO NOT use the grinder and the Foot Pedal
without the grinder properly set up in accordance to
the manufacturer’s guidelines.
2. Using the Foot Pedal on grinders without
proper point of operation measures and protection
can cause serious injury. Follow the grinder’s
manufacturer safety guidelines. DO NOT use the
Foot Pedal on grinders without proper installation.
3. The Foot Pedal should be utilized so that
the operator’s hands and ngers cannot enter
dangerous areas of the grinder. KEEP FINGERS
CLEAR of the Auger and Cutting Blades AT ALL
TIMES. NEVER REACH INTO THE GRINDER,
doing so may cause serious injury. ALWAYS
USE THE PROVIDED STOMPER, NEVER FEED
FOOD BY HAND. NEVER use ngers to scrape
food away from the Grinding Plate while the
Grinder is in operation. SEVERE INJURY MAY
RESULT.
4. ALWAYS DISCONNECT grinder and the
Foot Pedal from power source before servicing,
changing accessories, plates or knives or cleaning
the unit.
5. Plug the grinder and the Foot Pedal into a
standard 120 Volt, 60 Hz wall outlet.
6. DO NOT USE the grinder and the Foot Pedal
if the Power Cord, Plug or any other parts are
damaged. If the Power Cord, the grinder or the
Foot Pedal are damaged, call Customer Service.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE CORD.
Be sure to not allow the Power Cord to drape into
your work area. Check that all parts are operating
properly, and perform the intended functions.
Check for alignment of moving parts or any other
conditions that may affect the operation. DO NOT
use extension cords.
7. NEVER use any accessories or parts from
other manufacturers. Doing so will VOID YOUR
WARRANTY and may cause re, electrical shock
or injury.
8. TO PROTECT AGAINST RISK OF
ELECTRICAL SHOCK: DO NOT SUBMERGE
THE GRINDER OR THE FOOT PEDAL INTO
WATER OR LIQUID. BE SURE THE GRINDER
AND THE FOOT PEDAL ARE DISCONNECTED
FROM THE POWER SOURCE BEFORE
CLEANING. DO NOT use near water or liquids.
9. Be sure the Foot Pedal is on the, clean, dry oor.
10. Reduce risk of unintentional starting. Make
sure the power switch of the grinder is in the “OFF”

11. NEVER LEAVE THE GRINDER AND

12. TIE BACK loose hair and clothing, and roll
up long sleeves before operating the grinder and
the Foot Pedal. REMOVE ties, rings, watches,
bracelets, or other jewelry before operating the
grinder and the Foot Pedal.
13. Be sure the grinder is on a stable work
surface. Be sure all the grinder feet are stable.
14. ONLY use the Foot Pedal with shoes on.
NEVER use the Foot Pedal with bare or stocking
feet.
15. The Foot Pedal may become HOT during
operation. This is normal. DO NOT touch the
Foot Pedal parts during operation or until they cool
after use.
16. ONLY use the Foot Pedal on hard, ame-
resistant surfaces. DO NOT use the Foot Pedal
on carpeted surfaces.
17. Keep the area around the Foot Pedal clear
of all objects to avoid accidental ignition. NEVER
place an object on the Foot Pedal to keep the
grinder running. The Foot Pedal is intended for
intermittent grinding and stufng.
18. This product is not intended for commercial
use. Commercial use will void the warranty.
19. WEAR EYE PROTECTION. Wear safety
glasses. Everyday eye glasses are not safety
glasses. Safety glasses conform to ANSI Z87.1
requirements. Note: approved safety glasses
have Z87 printed or stamped on them.
20. DO NOT use outdoors.
21. The Foot Pedal is intended for use with
Grinders ONLY.
22. DO NOT use the grinder and the Foot Pedal
while under the inuence of drugs, medications or
alcohol.
23. DO NOT let the Power Cord hang over edge
of work surface during operation.
INSTALLATION
WARNING! Before attaching or detaching the Foot Pedal to the grinder, make

GUIDELINES THE COME WITH THE GRINDER AND THE FOOT PEDAL.
1. Be sure the power switch on the grinder
is in the ‘OFF’ position.
2. Plug the power cord on the grinder into
the back of the plug on the Foot Pedal.
3. Plug the Foot Pedal into a 110 Volt
electric outlet.
4. Turn the switch grinder switch to the
‘ON’ position.
5. The grinder will not operate until the
Foot Pedal is depressed with your foot.
6. To stop the grinder, release the
pressure on the Foot Pedal by raising your
foot.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
GROUNDING
This appliance must be grounded while in use to protect
the operator from electrical shock. The appliance
is equipped with a 3-conductor cord and a 3-prong
grounding type plug to t the proper grounding-type
receptacle. The appliance has a plug that looks like
Figure A. An adaptor, Figure B, should be used for
connecting Figure A plugs to two-prong receptacles.
The grounding tab which extends from the adaptor
must be connected to a permanent ground such as
a properly grounded outlet box as shown in Figure C
using a metal screw.
