Database Server Minimum Requirements
This guide outlines the minimum hardware and operating system
requirements for the successful installation and use of each component of
the Profitability and Cost Management product. Any changes to these
requirements may be listed in the release notes.
All installations are based around either two or three dedicated servers
depending on whether you are going to be using the Web capabilities of the
product. These should be a database server, an Application server, and
optionally a Web server. Other configurations of servers are not
recommended by Business Objects except where we have defined that
standard requirements can be changed.
Note:
These are only very generalized recommendations for minimum requirements.
Business Objects will work with you both before and after the sales process
to tailor a recommendation that is suitable for your organization and the
needs of the models being created. For more information, contact Business
Objects.
