Predictive Workbench overview
BusinessObjects Predictive Workbench XI 3.0 powered by SPSS Clementine
is a data mining tool that incorporates many types of data to develop
predictive models that can improve decision-making for your business. The
BusinessObjects XI 3.0 Integration for SPSS Clementine is a mandatory
add-on installation that connects Predictive Workbench to universes and
mines data in your BusinessObjects system.
Universe nodes connect to
BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1
The Universe node component can only connect to BusinessObjects
Enterprise XI 3.1. If you try to connect to other versions of BusinessObjects
Enterprise, you will not be able to establish a connection. There is no
workaround for this release.
Multiple Universe prompts require
different messages
The Universe node does not support multiple prompts that share the same
prompt message. If multiple prompts do share the same prompt message,
the user is prompted only for the first prompt value. The query will then fail
because it has insufficient information, or it will execute with default values.
To work around the issue, ensure that prompts have different prompt
messages.
