What's new in this release
SCENARIOCOPY FUNCTION ENHANCED
ScenarioCopyEx - this parameter, described in the online help as taking the
values CopyEverything and PreserveVariances, also accepts the values
DataOnly and AnnotationsOnly.
ScenarioCopySelectedPeriods - this parameter, described in the online
help as accepting the values CopyEverything and PreserveVariances,
also accepts the values DataOnly and AnnotationsOnly.
Note: The values DataOnly and AnnotationsOnly are not always available.
For instance, they would make no sense for mixed copy operations.
SCRIPT SCHEDULING USER INTERFACE ENHANCED
When Schedule is selected from the right-click pop-up menu on a script, or
when Reschedule is selected from the right-click pop-up menu on a
scheduled script in Administrator, there is now a Test button on the "Explicit"
page. When enabled, clicking this button displays the new "Visualized
Schedule" dialog with the values from the "Explicit" page populated into the
Time rule field.
Note: The Test button will be grayed out unless the Explicitly define job
schedule checkbox is checked.
A new menu item, Show Schedule, is now available on the right-click pop-up
menu for scheduled scripts in Administrator. When Show Schedule is

selected, the new "Visualized Schedule" dialog is displayed with the values
from the script populated into the Time rule field.
VISUALIZED SCHEDULE DIALOG
With schedule values propagated or manually entered into the Time rule
field, click Start to compile the values. The values compiled are displayed
in the Compiled read-only field. Also, all the schedule times for the next year
are displayed in the lower half of the dialog.
The Time rule field is editable. You can repeatedly change values and click
Start until you find the desired schedule for your script. The "Visualized
Schedule" dialog is a calculation dialog only—the time rules for your job are
not updated automatically.
Once you've determined the desired time rules for the job, select the contents
of the Time rule field and copy it to the clipboard by pressing Ctrl + C. Close
the "Visualized Schedule" dialog and paste the values into the Schedule
field on the "Explicit" page of the "Schedule" dialog or the "Reschedule"
dialog.
SCRIPT DEBUGGER
A Script Debugging tab is now available in the script editor. By default, this
tab is not initially visible. To enable (show) it, select Debug > Show Debug
Window. A checkmark is displayed beside the menu item indicating the
Debug (Read-Only) tab is enabled.
Note: Show Debug Window will be disabled if the tabs contain libraries
only or if the script or any linked library is protected with an implicit password
and the current user does not have rights to see the source code.
The Debug (Read-Only) tab displays an exact copy of the script, including
the Globals section, the main script and all linked libraries in the order they
are displayed in the tab list of the script editor window.
Within the Debug (Read-Only) tab, you can set or remove breakpoints. At
any line, you can also select Go To Source Code from the pop-up menu
(right-click) which will switch the focus to the corresponding tab and jump to
the appropriate line.
During debugging you can step into or over the current line or watch variables
using the corresponding menu items, toolbar icons or hotkeys.

Corrections
DATA EXPORT ENHANCED TO SUPPORT MORE THAN 3 DECIMALS
By configuring a specific setting in the Planning.INI file, all data export
operations from that site will export values consistent with the number of
decimal places specified in the INI setting (up to 9). If no INI setting is
specified, the default of 3 decimal places will be used. This applies when
using the script function ScenarioExporttoAsciiEX or when selecting
Export to File from the right-click menu on a scenario.
To change the default number of decimal places during export, set the
following in the CalcEngine section of the Planning.INI file:
NumberOfDecimalPlaceForDataExportToAscii=XX
XX represents the number of decimal places for data export.
